As Yuvika walked back to the café from the washroom, flanked by two of her female bodyguards, she suddenly stopped short in her tracks. Her heart skipped a beat when her eyes landed on a familiar figure just ahead. Daksh Agarwal, the man whose arrogance and sly advances had left a bitter taste in her mouth, was standing inside one of the luxury boutiques.

He was examining a designer watch with his usual air of indifference, completely unaware of her presence. The bodyguards noticed Yuvika’s sudden pause and subtly positioned themselves closer, alert as always, sensing something was off.

Yuvika’s chest tightened as she watched Daksh. The events of the night before flashed in her mind—Rudraksh’s protective punch, the tension, and Daksh’s growing obsession. Now, here he was, casually shopping as if nothing had happened. Her instincts told her to turn away, but her legs wouldn’t move. Her breath hitched as she quickly averted her gaze, hoping to dodge Daksh's attention. She turned slightly, intending to slip back towards the café unnoticed, but it was too late. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Daksh's head lift and his gaze lock onto her. He immediately changed direction, walking towards her with a familiar, charming smile. Her two female bodyguards stiffened beside her as he approached, but he didn’t slow down.

"Yuvika," Daksh greeted warmly, as if they were old friends. "Could we talk for a few minutes?"

Before Yuvika could respond, one of the guards stepped in front of her, blocking his path. "I'm sorry, Mr. Agarwal," she said firmly. "Mrs. Agnihotri is not permitted to speak with you without Mr. Agnihotri’s approval."

Daksh’s smile faltered for a moment, but he remained calm. "I understand you're just doing your job, but I only need a couple of minutes to speak with her."

The guards didn’t budge. "Sir, we have strict orders," the second guard chimed in, "We can't allow anyone to approach her without explicit permission."

Yuvika's heart raced as the situation started to draw attention from passersby. A few curious onlookers slowed down, their eyes darting between Daksh and the guards. She could feel the weight of their judgmental looks, whispers growing as more people began to notice the commotion. Her discomfort deepened, and her face flushed slightly under their scrutiny.

Daksh insisted, his voice still polite but carrying a hint of frustration now. "It's just a conversation. I don't mean any harm."

The guards, unwavering, stood their ground. But Yuvika, feeling trapped between causing more of a scene or addressing the situation, sighed quietly. The longer this dragged on, the more awkward it became. She hated the attention it was drawing, especially in a public setting like this.

"Fine," she said softly, her voice barely audible above the murmur of the growing crowd. "Just a few minutes." The guards hesitated but eventually stepped aside.
