End Game

Love without tragedy

Lizzie's POV.

It's been a month since I've been Dani's girlfriend, the news that we are together flew all over the media I guess everyone knows now including Valentina.

The first few days that the news came out she acted completely normal, she didn't say anything to me, she didn't act angry or make me feel bad, which of course wasn't what I expected.

I can't lie, I don't like Dani well at least not in that way, he's a nice guy and he treats me well but he's not her. I just want to be hers.

I know I should give her space but I can't seem to do that. I have been calling her lately when Dani falls asleep, she answers my calls, I always ask her how she is and tell her I miss her but every time I say the last thing she tells me she has to hang up.

I am actually surprised that she answers my calls and even has a conversation with me even if they are short.

On the other hand my sisters don't agree with my decision to be with Dani and they are upset about what I did to Valen, I don't judge them because I am also upset with myself for that.

"Hello?"
"Hi Valen."
"Oh hi Elizabeth"
"How are you?" I asked
"I'm fine, what about you?"
"I've been better"
She didn't say anything I could only hear her breathing.
"I was calling you because I wanted to ask you something."
"Couldn't you wait until tomorrow? It's two in the morning" she says with a giggle.
"Nope, I wanted to hear your voice."
Again there was silence from her.
"My sisters want to know if you can still help them with the company, you know giving ideas and all that?"
"Yes, of course"
"Great, they were worried you wouldn't want to hear from them" I confessed.
"Oh god no, what happened was between you and me, not them."
"You're right...they miss you.... and so do I."
"Okay I think I better go to sleep, tell the twins I miss them too" she hung up the call.

Ouch! Not hearing her say she misses me always hurts but I can't wait for her to say the same after what I did to her, she's been being nice enough to have a conversation with me.

The next day I went to work, I went into the make-up trailer but she wasn't there, she was in fact already filming her scenes with Madelaine.

The last few weeks I have hardly seen her, she shoots her scenes and goes to her dressing room where her friend Sabel is waiting for her, they both spend hours in there, they have actually asked not to be interrupted unless it is something very important, they have taken it very seriously as they have some of the staff outside their trailer not letting anyone in there.

The day went by and we shot all the scenes for today, all the cast was on set talking and Abel was there too.

"So guys I'm going to be at the opening of this new club and I would love for you to come with me and Valen. So what do you say?" Abel asks.
"Oh I would love to go but I have a dinner with my manager and a sponsor so I won't be able to go" Madelaine said.
"Dove, Adam and I will definitely go" Chace added with a smile.
Of course he would go, he would never miss a chance to be close to Valentina.
"What about you Lizzie? Are you coming?" Abel asks me.
"Yeah, I don't see why not."
"You can bring your boyfriend with you" Chace said and I could see a slight annoyance on Valentina's face.
I just nodded and we all started walking towards the exit.

I got dressed quickly because I already had in mind what I wanted to wear for tonight, I'm a bit nervous because it's the first time Valentina and Dani are going to interact since I'm his girlfriend. I'm really hoping that this night won't end so bad.

Being honest and I know it's wrong but if she gives me a second chance I would break up with him in a heartbeat just to be with her again. I'm only with him to make her jealous so she might want to get back together with me.

Dani and I left my house and headed to the club, when we got there they made room for us to get through quickly thanks to the security, they took us to where our table was which was near the DJ. At the table the other guys were already waiting for us except for Valen and Abel who were nowhere to be seen.

Some people who recognised us said hello and some of them started to film us, I mean it was to be expected that this was going to happen. An hour went by and we heard screams and the flashes of the phones going towards the same place. I managed to see Valentina enter the place with Abel, he was holding Valen's hand making sure she was safe by his side.

When they arrived at the table they greeted everyone, Valentina didn't even look at me let alone greet Dani she completely ignored us and that was the reaction I was going for.

She went and sat next to Chace making me tense my jaw. Abel made his way over to the DJ and asked him to pass him a microphone.

"Hi everyone, I'm so happy to see you all here, tonight is going to be epic, we are going to have a great time and thanks for having us here" he starts to say "I also want to give you guys the news that tomorrow at my first after hours tour concert my dear best friend Valentina is going to sing a song with me that we both love a lot, it took me a couple of weeks to convince her and she finally accepted so today we will party to that" he said raising his shot toasting with everyone.

Valentina took her shot and gulped down the drink quickly, the night continued and she looked more relaxed as well as drunk, she was dancing with her hair down and swinging it from side to side. We were all having a good time, Dani made me dance with him and I think that annoyed Valentina because she went to sit down and started taking more shots than I could count.

The night continued, Adam and dove left because they had to shoot in the morning. I decided to stay until Valentina left because I want to make sure she's okay while I'm there.

At one point after she had taken more shots than she needed she decided to stand up and walk over to Chace but as she tried she almost fell so I ran over to help her.

"You know, I think I better get you home" I said grabbing her hip but she quickly pulled away from me.
"Get off me" she said mad as Chace walks over to us.
"Chace! Let's dance" she says taking his hands and putting them around her waist and they both start dancing.

Dani came over to me and started dancing with me, she saw that and took two more shots while dancing, she was about to take another one when with her clumsy steps she spilled it all over Chace's shirt.

"Oh my God I'm so sorry" she says running her hands down Chace's abdomen as they both laugh.
"I think it's time for you to go home, let me take you" I say grabbing her hand and she quickly removes it.
"Don't touch me, you fucking disgust me...I'm not going anywhere with you" she bursts out.
"Hey don't talk to my girlfriend like that" Dani intervenes making things worse.
"You shut the fuck up, you fucking idiot."
"Hey valen calm down" Abel says.
"I want to go home now...can you take me with you" Valentina says to Chace looking him straight in the eyes.
"Yeah, of course"

And just like that the two disappeared from the place holding hands while Valentina with her other free hand hugged Chace's arm. That's not how I thought my night would end, I mean I knew something bad would happen but I didn't think she would say those things to me and leave with him.
