Valentina's POV.

So it's been a month and a half since Shawn's birthday and since then everything has been crazy, I've had constant stress, which is not good and lately I haven't been feeling well at all. I feel sick all the time.

I'm a little worried because my period hasn't come for a month and a half now, at first I thought it was from stress but then I started feeling dizzy and nauseous, I've also been craving ice cream all the time or eating sour mango with lemon and salt, oh god that's delicious just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Anyway, Shawn and I have had sex without a condom so that alarms me.

I'm home alone so I think it's the best time to get out of my doubt, I'm nervous as shit but I know I can't run from this. I took the pregnancy test and took it to the bathroom, did everything the instructions said and waited 3 minutes for the results.

It was the longest minutes of my life, I took a deep breath, took the test without looking and closed my eyes. I could feel and hear my heart beating, it was as if it was going to burst out of my chest.

I forced my eyes open and mentally counted to three and looked down at the test.

"Oh my God" I whispered with my eyes filling with tears "oh my God, I'm pregnant" a smile formed on my face.

I took a few more tests to be sure and they all came back positive, I am really pregnant, I am so happy.

Being a mom is something I have always wanted to be, since I was a little girl I loved playing with my baby dolls, I took care of them as if they were real babies. God I can't believe I'm pregnant and I'm thankful that Shawn is their father, he's a good man.

I am happy that my baby will be able to have the family that I couldn't have, I want my family to be big. I want to call Shawn and tell him but I want to make this special, I want to surprise him. So the first person I called was my sister Kylie who arrived a few minutes after I told her I needed her urgently.

"So what's going on?" she says confused sitting on my bed.
"Guess what?" I said excitedly.
"Oh my god no you're not " she says excitedly.
"Yes, sis I'm pregnant."
"Oh my god I'm so happy for you" she says excited with her eyes full of tears as she hugs me.
"Thank you, I'm so happy"
"Shawn knows about the baby?"
"Nope, that's why I called you too, I want you to come with me to my OBGYN because I want to get an ultrasound to see my baby and tell me exactly how far along I am and all those important things I need to know" I said and she nodded excitedly "I want to break the news to Shawn with the ultrasound pictures and pregnancy test in a decorated box" I finished explaining.
"That's very sweet, okay let's go to your OBGYN then".

Kylie and I walked into my doctor's office, I was so nervous, luckily my sister was there. I told my doctor everything, she took some tests and started doing the ultrasound.

She put the cold geo on my belly and ran the machine over it, my heart was racing full of nerves and happiness.

"There's your baby" she says pointing to the screen.
"Oh my gosh" I said letting a few happy tears fall as my sister held my hand and with the other she wiped her tears.
"Congratulations Valen" Sky says with a smile which I returned.
"How far along am I in my pregnancy?" I asked the doctor.
"You are exactly a month and a half" she says with a sweet smile.
"When will I be able to tell if it's a girl or a boy?"
"When you're about four months along."

I could hear my baby's little heart beating and there everything in my life made sense, it is the biggest and most inexplicable love I have ever felt, nothing can compare to what I feel right now.
