End Game

Trouble

Lizzie's POV.

The next morning after the party I woke up with a slight hangover but I'm sure my girlfriend is going to wake up much worse than me. So I went to get a glass of water and some aspirin.

Valen's family and mine are staying with us at the big house, her other friends flew back to LA this morning, but the cast members decided to stay in a hotel near the house and spend the rest of the week with us.

I can't say I'm happy that Chace is going to share the rest of the week with us after what I saw and heard last night. I guess I'll just have to put on a good face and act like nothing happened.

I made my way back to our room and when I opened the door my girlfriend was already awake.

"Good morning princess" I said walking over to her to give her the glass of water.
"Good morning my love" she whispered receiving the glass and not the aspirin.
"How are you feeling?
"I'm fine, in fact it's strange I don't feel hungover at all."
"Did you throw up last night?" I asked her.
"I think so."
"There's your answer as to why you don't have a hangover honey" I said with a chuckle.
"You look beautiful in the morning and even more so when you smile" she flirted, I could feel my cheeks flushing.
"Stop it, you're making me blush."
"I will never stop telling you the truth" she says and then gives me a sweet kiss on my lips.

After getting ready for the day, we made our way to the dining room, when we entered the room my family and Valentina's family were already seated having breakfast, we all greeted each other and started having different conversations at the table.

My last present is about to walk through that door and I can't hide my excitement, I know this is going to be her favourite present.

We finished breakfast and we all went to the living room to decide what we were going to do today, the doorbell rang and Valentina stood up to open the door and I went after her, I didn't want to miss seeing her happy face when she saw my surprise.

She opened the door and blinked several times making sure it wasn't a dream in front of her.

"Happy birthday angel."
"Oh my god sebas" She says with a smile on her face and ran to hug the little boy.
"I missed you"
"I missed you too...wait how did you get here?" She asked confused taking a step away from the boy.
"Lizzie here took care of that" he confesses.
"Of course she did" she looks at me with a smile that said how happy she was "Sebs go to the living room there they are all in there, the other kids are there too so you can play with them".
"Oki" the little one went off leaving us alone.
"Thank you for yesterday and thank you for this surprise" she says giving me a kiss.
"You're welcome, I would do anything for you".
"I really don't deserve you" she said with a small smile.
"You do, I love you"
"I love you"

We made our way back to the living room and I smiled at how we all seemed to be one big family.

"We've decided what we're going to do today" Ash informs us.
"Okay and what's that?" Valen asks.
"We're going skiing."
"That sounds like a good plan, I'll tell the cast" my girlfriend says grabbing her phone and leaving the place.

We arrived at the place where we were going to ski and the guys from the cast were already there waiting for us. They greeted us all but what I noticed first was how Chace ran up first to greet my girlfriend with a smile on his face. She hugged him back and I saw him whisper something in her ear making her laugh and blush.

I can't help but roll my eyes, little sebas took my hand making me look away from them, he smiled softly at me. He took a deep breath.

"I'm a little nervous" he confesses in his small voice.
"Oh honey, why?"
"I'm not very good at skiing and the other kids are" he explains.
"Don't worry about it, learning is a process. Want to know a secret?"
"Yes, of course."
"I wasn't very good at skiing either so I took lessons... not all kids can ski, I know Saint is learning as well as Stormi, True and Chicago, you have nothing to worry about little boy, you guys are going to have teachers that are going to teach you" I told him soothingly.
"Oh that's good to know, I feel so much better now" he says with a smile from ear to ear.
"Why weren't you feeling well?" Valen says joining our conversation.
"He was just nervous about skiing" I reply.
"Oh baby, it's going to be okay. I took care of it, you and the other kids are going to have a teacher" She says giving him a wink which he tried to reciprocate but failed by making a funny face.

We walked to where they were going to teach the children to ski, Valen talked to the teacher about childcare, the children's nanny was also on site to look after them while we did the other activities.

I thought Valentina was going to leave after talking to the teacher but instead she stayed and took pictures and videos of the kids. She had a proud smile watching the little children. I took some pictures of her and the children because I wanted to have this memory forever.

After a while she came to me to join the other adults, we started skiing and Valen was right about her sisters Kendall and Kylie, they really love adrenaline, the three of them started racing while sliding down the snow very fast. I could hear the women laughing as they raced down the mountain.

Kendall was leading, I was pushing hard for Valen to beat her. At one point the two of them were even, I saw Valen turn to look at her and I saw her push Kendall with her hand making her lose her balance, Kendall fell in the snow and Valentina started laughing as she gained the advantage and won the race.

When Kendall fell everyone laughed, she got up and went after my girlfriend.

"I hate you, you're a cheater" Kendall says playfully.
"I don't know what you're talking about" Valen shrugs her shoulder as she laughs.

We spent some more time skiing, Valen tried to spend time with each of us, as always she tried to make everyone feel special.

When we got tired of skiing, we rented snowmobiles, we started our ride and my sisters and Valen's sisters were leading the ride, my parents and Kris and her boyfriend stayed with the kids, the cast were behind my sisters and Valentina and I were last.

The ride was quite fun, we got to see the amazing view of Aspen. On the way back Madelaine, Chace and Valen said they would come after us, they wanted to go for a longer ride.

We got to where my parents and Kris were and waited there for my girlfriend and her friends. Half an hour had passed when I could see Madelaine appear first on her snowmobile, I looked behind her to see where my girlfriend was but there was no sign of her or Chace anywhere.

Mads got off the snowmobile and walked towards us.

"Where's Valen?" I said quickly when I had her in front of me.
"Chace said he had to give her her birthday present."
"Another one?" I whispered just for her to hear.
"What do you mean another one?" She whispered back confused.
"He already gave her a present."
"Oh... I didn't know" was all Mads said.

She started walking near the others and I felt something strange in me, I was uncomfortable with the thought that they were alone and who knows where.

"Where is my sister?" Kylie asked.
"She and Chace are going to do something, I'm not sure what but they asked me to tell you that they would meet us at the house," Mads informs us.

God I don't like this at all, she's out there with him, I know his intentions for her, I know he loves her and I know he's important to Valen. I know that what the two of them had was important to both of them and that terrifies me.

"Hey sis what's going on?" MK says as we walk to the car.
"Nothing."
"Come on Lizzie we know you, something is bothering you" Ash joins the conversation.
"I'm just worried that Valentina is out there with him."
"And why is that?" MK asks.
"Chace and Valentina dated for a while, they never made it official but I know he still loves her" I explained feeling a lump in my throat.
"How do you know he still loves her?" Ash says trying to hide his concern.
"He told her last night.
"And what did she say? Mk and Ashly looked at me intently.
"I walked into the room before she could say anything and pulled her out."
"You think she did?" Ash says.
"Oh my god no, I trust her with all my heart, the one I don't trust is him" I said as MK starts driving.
"I don't think you have anything to worry about, Valen would never do anything like that to you, she loves you" Ash reassures me.
"Yeah, she loves you, I mean she was the one who planned to come alone with you on her birthday" Mk adds.
"Yeah you're right, I shouldn't worry about it."
