End Game

Lizzie's POV.

I'm so excited, Valen's birthday is only a couple of days away, she hasn't told me if she has anything planned but I can't wait to give her all my presents.

March 10th is definitely my favourite date because my favourite person in the whole world was born, I want to give her the best birthday of her life like she did me. She took me to Mexico, we toured Cancun and had a great time. She made it special in every way. She gave me this necklace that I wear all the time, it is delicate and has a diamond in the centre.

She organised a romantic dinner on the beach for the two of us, then we walked along the beach without our shoes, holding hands talking about everything and anything. Valentina has the ability to make me feel special with simple things. Her little details fill my heart. We didn't even have to go all the way to Mexico to feel special by her side.

So yes! I want to make her feel special just like she makes me feel special. I can't wait to celebrate her.

"Love I'm home" she says walking into my kitchen.
"Hey babe, how did it go with your sisters?"
"Good, I actually taped for their show today and I had fun."
"That sounds great" I say giving her a smile.
"Babe?"
"Yess honey"
"I was thinking that for my birthday I want to go to Aspen, we can stay there for a week".
Okay that changes my plans but I can work it out.
"That sounds like a good idea, who's going?" I asked.
"I was thinking just you and me, is that okay?"
"Of course it is honey" I said moving closer to her and leaving a kiss on her lips.
"Great" she smiles at me and kisses me back.

Okay I have exactly two days to plan her birthday, from what I've heard she loves to celebrate her birthday, Madelaine told me that she usually celebrates them in a big way, her birthday parties are always extravagant from what I've heard, I find it a bit weird that she didn't want to do anything like that this time.

"Angel are you listening to me?" she says disappearing my thought cloud.
"Sorry what were you saying?"
"I said Mason my nephew is coming over because I'm meeting him for ice cream, do you want to go with us?"
"Of course."
"Okayy, Mason will be here in a few minutes" she informs me.
"I'm going to go change then"

Before I could leave the place she grabbed my wrist pulling me back and standing in front of her, she cupped my face with her hands gently.

"I love you" she says in the most sincere way I've ever seen anyone say in my life.
"I love you more" I said hoping she felt the sincerity in my voice.

She closed our distance with a sweet kiss, both of us showing our love for each other, we let each other melt. She is simply perfect.

We parted for lack of air and I went to my room to change my clothes, now that we have been hanging out more together in public the rumours have started. Pictures of us holding hands are circulating the internet, and there are different narratives of what people think is going on between us, which is entertaining for us to read.

When I was ready I went downstairs to where my girlfriend was and found her and her nephew already waiting for me.

"Hey Mase, what's up?" I said greeting my girlfriend's older nephew.
"All right Lizzie, we can go now."
"Sure dude" Valentina adds.

I'm driving to Mason and Valen's favorite ice cream shop, they both had a smile on their face, I know how much Valen loves ice cream and I guess his nephew is the same way.

"How's school going?" Valen asks.
"Pretty good, I'm going to join the football team."
"That's pretty cool" I said to the boy who upon hearing that smiled bigger.
"Auntie do you think you could come and watch one of my games?"
"Of course I would buddy"
"Can Lizzie come and watch my games too Auntie?" The little man says.
"I don't know, why don't you ask her yourself?"
"Okay, Lizzie would you like to come and watch my games with my auntie Valen?" He asks me with hopeful eyes.
"I'd love to" I confess.

We arrived at the ice cream parlour and within seconds the paparazzi arrived. Mason seems to be used to this by now so he didn't look surprised by them. We all ordered our ice cream and sat down at a table.

"You know Valen and I always come here, she often came here with her parents here it was like their place, right auntie?" Mason shares.
"Yes honey" she says with a small smile, I could almost feel her heart break at the memory.
"That's a beautiful memory" I said.
"This is our place now, we come here and talk about school, she gives me advice here when I don't want anyone else to know, I love coming here with aunty."
"I love coming here with you mate" Valen says playing with the boy's hair.

This is the cutest thing, Valen really loves each of her nieces and nephews, she makes it a point to spend time with each of them. She gives them a safe place to talk and makes them feel special.

She is going to be a great mother and I hope she can be the mother of our children, I would really like to have a family with her. 

After we had eaten our ice cream we went to this video game shop that Mason wanted to go to. He wandered around the shop for thirty minutes. Valen and I didn't mind because we could see the happiness on the little boy's face.

"Did you choose which one you want me to buy you?" Valen asked.
"I can't decide which one I want to wear, I like them both," Mason pouted.
"Then take them both," Valen says simply.
"Really?" He says excitedly.
"Sure, take whatever you want."

The little man ran off grabbing all the games his eyes caught.

"You're cute" I say then give her a kiss on her cheek.
She turned red in a second, I love seeing her react like that to my touch.
"You think so?"
"I think you're very cute and sweet, I love seeing you with your nieces and nephews."
"And I love you... okay that was pretty cheesy" she says wrinkling her nose.

After Valen paid for all the games we went over to her house because Mason couldn't wait to try them out.

I'm definitely getting used to having kids around and I'm loving it.
