Lizzie's POV.

She was taking the last pictures in solo, with a black dress, she looks divine, her leg is over the top thanks to the cut she has, her body is more toned than the last times I saw her, she has always been in shape but now she looks more so. Fucking goddess.

She is posing and has me mesmerized, Shawn is busy talking on the phone so I don't have to worry if he is watching me drooling over his girlfriend.

They were taking the last pictures when the door opened revealing a blonde coming through the door.

"My girls it's a pleasure to see you again" Donatella addresses us.
"Oh my goodness it's so good to see you" Valen says running over to hug the woman.
"Very happy to see you" I now say hugging the blonde.
"So how is the photo shoot going?"
"It's going perfect, in fact we are done" the photographer says.
"That's perfect" Versace says with a smile.
"Hi Donatella" Shawn says approaching us, he took the woman's hand and kissed it.
"Oh it's so nice to see you honey" the woman says.
"I thought you were in New York" Valentina interrupts.
"In the end I decided not to go... you girls look beautiful in Versace".
"Oh thank you... you two did a great job... what inspired you to do these designs?" I said genuinely interested.
"That's a good question...do you want to answer Valen?" Donatella said giving Valen a look.
"I don't know... I think I was inspired by...uh" she started to say nervously.
"Well your designs had this model drawn who now come to think of it looks a lot like li..." Shawn tries to say but Valen interrupts him.
"I'm starving, I want to go to lunch now" she says quickly.
"Valen wait, I was thinking of having a party for the launch of the new collection we are coming out with, what do you think?" The Versace owner says with a smile.
"That sounds great."
"There's just one problem, I want it to be somewhere cozy but my house is having renovations so we can't do it there, I was wondering if we could do it at yours?"
"Yes, but it would have to be at my new house where I'm living and not the one in Calabasas because I don't want to inconvenience Fran" Valen says.
"Okay that sounds good... I have to go now to organize everything, I'll send my team to your house to organize everything for the party."
"Okay, have a good day beautiful" Valen says to the woman after saying goodbye with a hug.

Shawn and I say goodbye to Donatella and Valentina's attention went back to her boyfriend.

"So where are we going for lunch baby?"
"Yeah, about that, I was talking a couple of minutes ago with my producer and he said I would have to go back to the studio to re-record some parts of the song" Shawn says making her pout "but I had already booked a table at your favorite restaurant so I was thinking you were going with Lizzie"
"No, it's okay baby" she replies quickly.
"No, I know you and I know you'll skip your lunch so you'll go with Lizzie" the man says.
"Ugh fine" she says grumbling.

I was listening to their conversation and watching them out of the corner of my eye so they wouldn't notice, he said goodbye to her giving her a small kiss on the forehead and then on her lips.

She then came to me, walking a little hesitantly, once she was in front of me our eyes connected.

"So you want to have lunch with me?" She says firmly but I could notice some hesitation in her eyes.
"Only if you're going to pay" I said trying to lighten the tension.
"Don't worry, Shawn is going to pay" She replies with a slight laugh showing me Shawn's card with her hand.
"Great then."
"Okay let's change our clothes to go."

And that's what we did, I'm going to accept that I'm nervous, I've prayed so hard to the universe to be able to have a moment alone with her Just like this, I don't want to ruin it.

Please Lizzie don't ruin it, now we are walking to her car, neither of us say a word, we both get into her sports car.

"Do you feel like eating sushi?" She asks.
"Is that what you want?" I asked softly careful not to make her uncomfortable with my question.
"I want whatever you want, I'm not craving anything specific, Shawn I booked at Nobu, but if you want something different we can go somewhere else" she says sweetly for the first time.
"Well if you want we can try this new restaurant I saw on the internet, we can paint our own clay figures."
"Oh that sounds cool, let's go there then" she sounded excited but quickly controlled her excitement by putting on an expressionless face.

She started the car we only talked when it was necessary which was when I gave her the directions google maps said.

When we arrived at the place, to our good luck there were no paparazzi, we were taken to a private table and given our clay figures, Valen decided to paint Emily from the corpse bride movie and I decided to paint an alien, we ordered our food which arrived quickly along with the clay figures.

"Why did you decide to paint Emily?" I asked trying to eliminate the silence between us.
"It's my favorite Halloween movie and I also think it has a cute message behind it all" she explained as she carefully painted the figure.
"Tell me more" I said as I ate.
"Okay let me walk you through that, so Emily falls in love with Victor Van Dort, who is in love with Victoria. Emily tries hard to make Victor love her as much as she loves him but it is impossible because her love is not reciprocated no matter how hard she tries, until one day after trying so hard and with much sadness and pain she decides to let him go so he can finally be happy with the one he really loves, it shows that true love would do whatever it takes to see the one you love happy, no matter if it makes you break into pieces, I think it is nice what Emily did for him."
"Wow I never saw it that way, I always saw it from Victor's suffering "I said.
"Yeah, a lot of people see it that way and see Emily as the bad guy but in reality she was desperately looking for love" Valen says Before shoving a spoonful of food in her mouth.
"What's the hardest thing you would do for love?" I asked curious.
"Let you be happy marrying him " she says without a second thought, not doubting what she was saying.
That took me by surprise, I didn't know what to say so there was silence for a few seconds until she spoke again.
"What about you? What's the hardest thing you would do for love?"
"I guess it's letting you go" I said nervously.
"Well you're not doing that right if you ask me" she says with a giggle making me laugh too.
"What do you mean?"
"You're not letting me go and you know it, everything you do calls me to you."
"And is that working?" I asked nervously as I watched her paint.
"It will never work at all as long as you are still engaged to him or if you plan to marry him" she says without looking at me very focused on what she is doing.
"What about Shawn? Do you have strong feelings for him?" I ask and she quickly grabs her phone to look at the time.
"Shit."
"What's wrong?"
"I totally forgot I have a casting, do you want to come with me?"
"Sure."
