Keep your eyes open

Lizzie's POV.

So I didn't get much sleep last night after listening to the conversation of those two. I'm uneasy knowing that they have a past together, I know Hailee isn't going to stop there even though Valentina has made it clear that she doesn't want to be with her.

I wish Valentina would have told me about her past with Hailee but I'm not upset with her for that, in fact her accepting that she likes me makes me feel happy, hopefully one day she will tell me instead of someone else.

She is asleep in my arms peacefully, I took the time to admire her beauty, her sighs from time to time make me melt with tenderness, the small freckles on her nose and cheeks that are hardly noticeable at first sight make her look even more beautiful. She started to come into consciousness making me happy because I missed her already.

"Hello my love" she says smiling letting me see her dimples.
"Hello my princess"
"I dreamt about you" she confesses with a smile, I swear that smile is going to be the end of my days.
"Oh yeah?"
"Mhm"
"Was it a good one or a bad one?"
"Baby anything to do with you is better than good" she says giving me a kiss.

I let myself be carried away by her caresses, I feel on cloud nine every time I'm touching her lips with mine, when her hand lands on my neck to deepen the kiss as her fingers play with my baby hair, it's just that everything she does no matter how small it is has an effect on me and I love that. She's like a drug for me I can't get enough.

Unfortunately we had to get out of bed because we had to go to work, we got ready for work and went downstairs for breakfast.

"Good morning to you both" Hailee says as she puts a piece of fruit in her mouth.
"Morning" Valentina says.
"Good morning" I say sitting down next to Valen.
"So what are the plans for today?"
"Actually Lizzie and I will have to go to work until mid afternoon."
"Oh I can join you guys for lunch."
"I'm sorry but Valen and I are going to a restaurant for lunch and the reservation is only for two" I said before Valentina could say anything and damage my plans.
"Oh okay...I'm going to go to the set later to see the guys it's been a long time since I've seen them."
"That's fine" Valentina interjects.
"Could I ask your driver for a ride?"
"Of course, he'll be happy to give you a ride" Valen says with a smile.

We get into her car and she starts driving to work, in my mind I kept replaying the conversation I overheard.

"I know something is bothering you, tell me what it is" she says putting her hand on my thigh.
"Why didn't you tell me about your past with Hailee?"
I guess that question took her by surprise because her eyes widened.
"How did you know?"
"I overheard."
"I'm sorry you found out that way, I really didn't think it was important because I don't want anything with her, she's just a friend to me, I just want to be with you that's all that matters to me...I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner."
"Are you sure it's over between the two of you?"
"Of course honey, you are the only person in my mind and in my heart" she says looking into my eyes while the traffic light is red.
My heart glowed as I heard those words come out of her mouth, she said that with such sincerity that I could feel it.
"Great because you are also on my mind and in my heart all the time."
She gave me this smile that she does that makes me feel these butterflies fly all over my body.

We got to the set and headed to the makeup trailer, we greeted everyone there, I couldn't help this smile I have on my face as I can't wait to finish work so I can go with Valen to lunch and then ask her the question I've been waiting so long to ask her.

"So I was thinking...we are going to have a break from work for two weeks and Beyoncé is doing a concert in Paris right around that time...my family and I are going and I was wondering if you wanted to come with us? We'll just be there for two days and then we'll go back to LA, you don't have to go if you don't want to..."
"I would love to go with you and your family" I cut her off.
"Great, I'll let them know then, Koko can't wait to see you and all my sisters are excited to meet you even mama Kris" she says excitedly.
"I'm excited to meet them too" I said with the same energy.

The shooting of the scenes went smoothly, everything went off without a hitch and we had no delays of any kind.

I love these kind of days where my character and Valen's character are in the same scenes because I can admire the way she works, she is a very in the moment actress she does what she feels and that helps the scene feel more real, she lets go with the scene feeling every emotion, I really like working with her I learn too much just watching her.

When it was time for lunch Hailee arrived, all the guys came to greet her, they seem to get along really well with her.

"We should celebrate your arrival" Dove says.
"That sounds great" Madelaine says.
"I'd love that."
"Perfect, tonight it is then" Adam seconds.
"You girls are coming?" Chace asks us.
"Of course we're coming!...we'll see you guys in the evening Lizzie and I are going to go to lunch."
"Have fun" Mads says.

Walking to the car I couldn't stop looking at her, she is just so divine, the way she walks, how she moves her hair from side to side so relax and the way she smiles at me as she walks makes my heart stop for a few seconds.

I took her to this sushi restaurant because I know it is one of her favorite foods, she was so happy that I chose this restaurant because she has been craving for sushi for a while now.

Our lunch was everything I thought it would be, the two of us having an amazing time enjoying each other's company, laughing at any grandpa jokes we had, we also talked about anything we were interested in, she is good at conversation she always has something to say, she can talk about anything which is great because she is never boring to be with.

After our lunch I took her to one of the parks here in Toronto riverdale park, there were not many people so it was perfect for us, no one recognized us and that made me very happy because today I just wanted to spend time with her without anyone interrupting us.

We sat on the grass, she looks so cute with that bucket hat she has on, I don't think anyone can look as cute in a hat as she does. She just looks gorgeous in her outfit.

I took two of the KitKat's I brought with me because I know she loves them and offered her one which she took right away making me laugh, she taught me how to eat them properly which I never thought there was a proper way to eat a kitkat but according to her there is and Kourtney her sister taught her.

We spent some time looking at the clouds and laughing at the shapes we found in them, it was the perfect day I can't be happier than I am now.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" she asks me.
"You just don't know how beautiful you are and baby was is my favorite part."
"You are a ray of sunshine, you make me so happy" she says smiling at me and her dimples make me fall on my knees, she is all I want and this is the time to do it.
"You came into my life to bring light into it, every time I think of you it makes me smile, you bring so much happiness into my life that I never thought possible it could happen, I want this thing we have to be forever and I know it's too soon but I can't wait any longer...will you be my girlfriend?"
Some tears fell from her eyes, she looked at me so tenderly.
"I would love to be your girlfriend, my love" she answered giving me a kiss.

I felt these fireworks all over my body, she just made me the happiest person and I don't even think she knows it. This day was perfect, definitely in the future I will come back to this memory and smile because genuinely this is the moment where I have been the happiest.
