End Game

Lizzie's POV.

I woke up feeling her fingers moving gently on my belly, she was touching me so gently, her head was resting on my shoulder and a smile came across my face at the sight I was having.

She really is becoming my whole world, the way her body fits with mine, the way she looks at me and touches me like I'm a porcelain doll that could break at any sudden move she makes. She makes me feel special in every way, makes me feel complete. Like I can do anything.

"Good morning beautiful" I said rubbing my hand over her head gently.
"Oh you're finally awake, I've been missing you" she says giving me a peck on my lips making me close my eyes at the contact.
"You're beautiful when you wake up, you know that?"
"Nope, but I like it when you tell me" she says wrinkling her nose and smirking.
"I'm so hungry, do you think breakfast is ready yet?"
"I think it should be done by now, let's go downstairs and see" she says.

We made our way to the dining room where all the delicious freshly made food was laid out on the table. We took our seats and started to eat, we talked about everything and anything enjoying each other's company.

I would love for all my mornings to be like this, waking up next to the most important person to me, then having a delicious breakfast with her while we talk about whatever is on our minds.

We finished breakfast and stood there talking about the weeks off work until Hailee came into the room with all her bags on the floor.

"Good morning, are you having breakfast here?" Valen asks her.
"Hey, no actually I was just coming to say goodbye."
"Wait what? Why are you leaving? Where are you going?" Valen says taken by surprise.
"I got a hotel to stay in."
"But you said you were staying here for a week, why the sudden change?" She furrows her eyebrows and tilts her head slightly to one side.
I just don't understand why Valentina cares so much about her leaving, it's actually the best thing that could happen to us.

Hailee didn't say anything back, she just stood there, her eyes teary. It was obvious she was leaving because of what she heard last night and I'm so proud of myself for that.

"You and I need to talk, come with me" Valentina says standing up from the table and taking Hailee's bags.
She opens the front door of her house and they head towards the car Hailee had rented.

I made sure they didn't see me and through a window I saw them. Valentina and Hailee were putting the bags in the boot of the car, when all the bags were inside they closed the door.

They started talking, I could see Hailee was pretty upset, I think she was arguing and Valentina was just there listening to her.

At one point Valentina started talking and Hailee started crying, I don't know what they are talking about out there but it looks pretty intense. After Valen spoke she grabbed Hailee's hand and pulled her into a hug, she reciprocated the hug immediately, Valen ran his hand through her hair in an attempt to calm Hailee down.

They stood for a moment in each other's arms and I could feel something in me that I don't know how to explain, I just don't like it. Hailee got in the car and started driving, Valen made her way to the house so I made my way to the dining room.

I wanted to ask her what she and Hailee had talked about but by the way she was acting she let me know she didn't want to talk about it so I didn't push her to do it.

Our day went well, we went to work, at lunch she ordered us food because we were craving something different than what was on set today. As always she was being sweet to me giving me kisses every chance she got, I feel in wonderland with her and I can safely say she feels the same way.
