Lizzie's POV.

I wake up the next day with a bit of a hangover from the night before, thankfully my scenes today are in the afternoon so I have time to get myself together.

I went to the kitchen and made myself a coffee, I made my breakfast and after that I went to take a shower which helped me feel better, my mind was still on the night before, she left with him and I don't want to imagine what could have happened, I really hope nothing happened because that would break me even more although I'm in no position to pray that it didn't happen because I did it first and even worse because we were together.

The doorbell of my house brought me out of my thoughts quickly. I'm not expecting anyone so it's strange. When I opened the door I couldn't believe what I was seeing in front of me.

"Hello."
"Hello" I said in disbelief.
"I need to talk to you...can I come in?"
"Sure."

I led her into the living room where we sat on my couch. I can't believe Valentina's here, she looks perfect in her comfy outfit. We kept eye contact for what felt like hours until she decided to finally speak.

"I'm sorry for my behaviour last night, that was out of character, I was drunk and angry...you don't disgust me" she says and her confession makes me feel so much better.
"It's okay, I'm the one who should be apologising, I shouldn't have taken Dani with me".
"You didn't do anything wrong, he's your boyfriend."
"Yeah, but I wish he wasn't." I whispered.
She didn't say anything she just stared at me and I got lost in her dark eyes, they are so beautiful.
"Valen I'm really sorry for what I did...I don't love him...I only love you" I reminded her.
"I know...but you're still with him."
"Do you think we can get back together at some point?" I said startled by her response.
"I don't know...I'm still pretty hurt by what you did" she said with her eyes watering.
It's the first time she's talked about her feelings with me and that surprises me that she's opening up to me.
"I'm sorry for hurting you" I said honestly.
"I know you are...I forgive you...I guess it's time to move on" she said wiping her cheeks and standing up from the couch.

I did the same standing up in front of her, our eyes didn't separate for a second, I could see her gaze soften for a few seconds before going cold again. I didn't think twice because if I did it I would overthink it too much, I walked quickly towards her and hugged her. My arms fit perfectly around her hips, she didn't reciprocate at first but after a couple of seconds I felt her arms around my neck pulling me closer to her. We stayed like that for a couple of minutes until she slowly pulled away.

She walked towards the door as I followed her.

"Good luck at the concert with Abel" I said with a half smile.
"Thanks" she gives me a smile.
"Valen...I love you" I whispered just enough for her to hear me.
"See you later Lizzie" she gave me a kiss on the cheek and left.

I know I should feel sad that she didn't say she loved me back and I am but knowing that she forgave me, that she let me hug her and hugged me back and on top of that she kissed me on the cheek makes me feel that maybe there is hope for us.

I'm not going to lie, it scares me to think that she might decide to move on without me, I know she's capable, she's not tied to anyone. If she decides to do that at least I will have the chance to see her while we work together and when we go back to LA I will see her in the company of my family. But it still won't be the same.

I went to work recording took longer than expected because of a problem with the lights but when it was finally fixed everything started to get done quickly.

My scenes flowed well so I was able to go home in the predicted time. It was already dark outside so I guess the concert is about to start.

I got home and did my evening routine, when I was ready I went down to the kitchen and made a simple dinner because I wasn't very hungry. I finished my dinner and went back to my room, brushed my teeth and got into my bed.
