Oxytocin

Lizzie's POV.

I woke up to little murmurs, opened my eyes and saw Valen FaceTime with someone.

V-What are you doing there bug. She asks the other person.
X-I came to watch Fran.
V-Oh you are the most caring and sweetest little boy I've ever met. she says sweetly.
X-We miss you here.
V-I miss you too
X-When will you be back? .The little boy asks.
V-In a week and a half I'll be back with you making your lives miserable.
she says with a wicked laugh making the two people on the other side laugh.
She turned to look at me over the top of her phone and smiled when she saw me, she walked over to me and sat down next to me on the bed.

V- hey bug, you want to see who's here with me?
X- yeah, of course.

She arranged her phone so that the two of us were on the screen. I saw the little boy who I last saw in Aspen at Valen's birthday party.

L- oh my gosh Sebs, it's so good to see you.
S- gosh it's been so long without hearing from you.
L- I know baby, what are you doing?
S- I came here to Valen's house to watch Fran while Valen gets back. The boy says putting him and Fran on the screen.
F- it's a pleasure to meet you Elizabeth, I've heard so much about you. The woman says, I turn to look at Valen who is blushing.
L- well I hope what you've heard about me has been good things.
F- oh of course it's been good things. How is my daughter behaving with you?
L- She has been amazing, I really missed her, I wish you would come here so I could get to know you.
F- oh honey, that won't be possible for now, I'm pretty sick.
V- what have the doctors said?
F- they keep testing me to see what's wrong.
V- how are you feeling?
F- I've been feeling much better because Sebas is here taking care of me.
V- Well you have the best person who can take care of you, in fact I am jealous that he is taking care of you and not me.

The little boy laughed and the two women smiled to see the happy child.

S-Lizzie when are you coming to visit us?
F- yes, I would love to meet you and experience how lovely you are for myself, these two have told me wonderful things about you.
L-oh have they?
S- yes, every time we talk about you Valen can't seem to stop.
V- okay I think that's enough, I'll call you later, I love you both and I promise I'll see you soon.

Valen hung up the call and looked at me blushing.

"So you're talking about me" I said teasing her with a smile.
"Stop that" she said trying to hide a smile.
"I really think Fran is a very sweet person, you guys are very lucky to have each other."
"I think the lucky one is me"
"I want to meet her" I said.
"She will love you in fact you already do from before that phone call" she says staring at me.
"Your eyes have this thing when they look at me that I haven't been able to decipher" I said looking back at her.
"Well it's because I look at you with my soul."

My body tried to move closer to her without even asking me but she moved away from me.

"Come let's go to breakfast" she says taking my hand and leading me to the dining room.

We had breakfast with all the kids, the younger ones told us what they had dreamed, while the older ones talked about what they would have to do before going to school today. Their aunt Kylie would come for them to take them to school. 

Once the children were ready to leave we waited for Kylie. It literally took her 8 minutes to get to Valentina's house, they live too close.

"Hey sis" kylie says as she enters the house.
"Hi sky"
"Oh I see you have company" kylie looks over knowingly.
"Oh shut up it's not that at all" she says embarrassed.
"Hi Lizzie, it's good to see you"
"Hi, you too"
"In fact now that you're both here I want to extend an invitation" kylie continues.
"Tell us" Valen says.
"Okay Justin is having a little party at this club we always go to and I wanted to know if you guys want to go?"
"That sounds like fun" I say.
"Why hasn't Justin said anything to me?" Valentina asks a little offended.
"He was going to call you but I told him I was coming over here and I could tell you."
"Okay, I'll be there"
"Great, Lizzie you can invite your sisters too, it will be fun" kylie says smiling.
"Okay I'll tell them"

After that kylie left with the kids from the house, after the call Valen had with Fran and Sebastian her mood changed, she was not so happy.

"Hey I know you are worried, but everything will be fine with Fran, you have the best doctors with you helping to find out what is wrong with her" I said trying to calm her mind.
"Yeah, you're right it's just that I want to be able to fix what's hurting her" she says with her eyes watery.
"Hey look at me, you're doing the best you can okay?" she let out a tear and nodded.
"Thank you for being here."
"I will always be here" I said hugging her.

We spent the whole morning talking about different things that have happened in our lives while the other was gone. It was nice to know how she has grown as a human being, she looks more mature, she has some new tattoos on her hands which are pretty badass and sexy if you ask me.

I told her about the projects I did and how I've been taking some time for myself these past few months. She said it's good that I'm taking time for myself and my business.

Neither of us wanted to talk about Boyd. It was an uncomfortable subject for both of us so we decided to avoid it.

After a while I had to go home to talk to my sisters about the party and finalize details about the fashion show.

The day went by very fast because before I knew it I was walking into the club where the party was being held. The place was completely full, my sisters and I walked until we found Valentina's sisters, we all greeted each other but I didn't see Valen anywhere.

"Where is Valen?" I said faster than I should have earning some stares from the sisters and twins.
"Justin took her to join him to sing one of the songs that make Valen have fun" Kenny says.
"He threw this whole party to make her feel better about everything she's going through with Fran" sky says.
"Oh there they are" Kim says pointing to the stage as Lolly by justin starts playing.

People went crazy singing and dancing to the song, Valentina had a smile on her face while dancing with her friend, they were doing some dance steps as if they had been practicing it since before. Valen was laughing and enjoying the moment making a smile grow on my lips.

The part where Justin sings started to dream, Valen and Justin started to sing.

She let the other part of the song play while they danced, my eyes glued on every move she made, she looked much more relaxed than this morning.

They came down from the stage once the song was over and headed towards us.

They both greeted all of us, Valentina came towards me and left a kiss on my cheek making me blush. We went to our table and had a few shots to get in the mood with the other guys.

Suddenly Billie Eilish's oxytocin started playing, Valen got up from the couch and went to the dance floor, we all joined her dancing.

I didn't know she liked that song so much, she was moving her body from side to side.

She had this mischievous smile on her lips as she sang the song, my attention was on her the whole time, I hope she didn't notice because she would think I was a weirdo.

The song kept playing and there were more and more people on the dance floor, the lights were traveling all over the place, I watched as she closed her eyes feeling the music all over her body.

From one moment to another there were so many people that I was pushed in front of Valentina, our space was almost nonexistent, she opened her eyes and when she saw me she bit her lower lip.

She kept on dancing with me, she kept on with her mischievous smile, I could feel my heart wanting to jump out of my chest when I felt her so close, her gaze was glued to mine, I could feel her breathing, she moved her body from side to side with mine.

She looked at me and whispered "bad things" in the hottest way I've ever heard just as Billie sang it too. She laughed at my reaction and continued dancing as if nothing had happened.

The tension was there I could cut it with a knife, I'm sure she could feel it too. Our bodies so close that if either of us made another move our mouths would meet.

The song ended and we returned to our table, to find Boyd sitting there waiting for me. Fuck!
