The two remaining ninjas were dragging Emily toward the ground. She was scrambling for her whip, pistol, anything!
Her hands latched onto an obsidian lava shard, as the two ninjas dragged her toward their leader, Chiba.
"Put me down!" Emily snarled. She grabbed the obsidian blade and sliced off her ponytail.
The lead ninja froze, staring at the suddenly detached braid of hair in his hand.
Emily rolled, but didn't have enough time to get to her feet.
Chiba laughed, grabbing her by the throat.
Emily slugged him, holding the obsidian blade. Her hook punch with the lava shard sliced across his face. She saw Chiba falling, and she slugged him with a hook punch in the other direction.
Lizavet kicked the eleventh ninja, flipping head over heels in a cartwheel. She righted herself, back to back with Emily. "Where are twelve and thirteen?"
