Egypt,
Along the Red Sea
1947
"Jones! Wait!"
Indy immediately froze.
Marion set her pack down and opened it, removing a lantern. "Here."
Relieved it wasn't something dangerous Indy turned and lit the lantern. "You think of everything, Marion," he smiled.
She moved past him. "EMILY!"
Her desperate voice echoed through the ancient chambers.
Indy held the lantern above his head, trying to cast as much light as possible through the tomb.
Their shadows made flickers on the walls, amid the lantern's orange glow and Egyptian hieroglyphics - picture symbols dedicated to the spells of the afterlife.
Marion started scanning the images. "There's nothing about a tunnel or a second layer..."
"They wouldn't have announced it," Indy replied. "Not to tomb robbers." His hand wrapped around hers. "EM!" He shouted.
They both listened.
Silence.
