Indy grinned up at her in adoration. She held up a small pick axe and a small metal climbing anchor.
Indy looked back at Annie. "Your mother made it, darling treasure - she always does!"
Annie rushed Indy. He wrapped her in a hug.
Sallah came around the edge of the cliff. "Indy - the diggers have found nothing."
"Farouk knows better than them," Indy replied grinning at the little boy. "Sallah, make sure he gets a bonus to take home to his family tonight. Maybe some of Marion's cookies too." He pointed to the cliff. "Sallah, can you secure me with the rope, while I climb up and help Marion?"
"Like we did at Tanis?"
"Exactly. Only hopefully with less trouble."
"I doubt it, Indy."
Indy looked at his old friend. "Marion would scold you about being pessimistic."
"She's also the only person I know who adopted a monkey with Nazi loyalties," Sallah replied.
"Is that the next part of the story?" Annie asked.
Sallah smiled. "Yes, Annie. Let me help your father and I will share the rest with you." Sallah gave a nod. "Ready, Indy?"
Indy bolted toward the cliffs.
