Emily raced into the darkness, rushing toward the shadows of the standing stones. Lizavet was beside her. "What did you mean, 'for Winslow'?"

Emily grinned, ducking behind one of the standing stones. "Family joke. Actually, near family disaster - but it brought my parents back together."

She measured the moon with her eyes, and carefully traced the carvings on the stone.

"Do you know what these mean?" Lizavet whispered.

"No idea." Emily shut her eyes, analyzing the carvings by touch. "But we're going to get betrayed by the moonlight if we don't hurry."

Then she dropped to her knees and reached into the darkness - pulling out a sword! "One. See the stone directly across?"

"Yes."

"There's a sword there."

Lizavet shut her eyes and made a motion with her hand and vanished.

Emily quietly counted the standing stones and was about to rush to the next one. Lizavet returned, holding the sword.

"What did you just do?" Emily stammered shocked.

"I'm a shaman," Lizavet replied. "I... some of us can... travel oddly."

"Like when you walked into my memories?" Emily asked.

"That is... different... but, yes." She blinked. "Do you want me to get the other swords?"

"I put them at the cardinal points of the standing stones," Emily whispered.

"Ah... its not for Winslow... its four winds blow!" Lizavet disappeared, and came back with two more swords. "The cardinal points are sacred to shamans as well."

Emily had two of the swords in the quiver-like pack on her back. "You should keep those."

"No," Lizavet replied. "I have to confront Edo to get the other two swords."

"Does he have the same skill?"

"I don't know."
