Indy shakily held up his cigarette lighter. His hands were trembling and he struggled to force the lighter to illuminate the ancient chamber. His glove caught fire.

He cursed, flinging his hand, dropping the cigarette lighter.

It landed inches from his feet and the top snapped back on.

"Dammit!" Indy tossed his glove on the floor and habitually stomped on it to put out the fire.

He found himself in total darkness.

Something dropped behind him.

He pivoted - spotting a cigarette ember.

Marion removed the cigarette from her mouth and struck a match, pulling a candle out of her pocket. "Jones - I've watched you do a lot of a crazy shit!" She lit the candle for punctuation, setting in the sand and tossed him his cigarette lighter. "But if you ever jump off a cliff again - I swear I will come after you and beat the ever living sense out of you." She came at him swinging.

Indy caught her fist. "Marion - I love you. I love our daughters. I want to protect all of you. Getting you into a third pit was none of those things."

Marion gave a snort. "Who brought the candles? I don't always have a frilly dress to rip off and make torches."

"Let's hope there's no snakes in this pit," Indy took her hand, moving around the chamber, holding his cigarette lighter.
