ABCD’s POV:

I have a meeting with Mr. Romero in this restaurant. There’s this girl who looks young, she’s a waitress here. She serves our coffee and smile at us. I can’t take off my eyes on her.

This is not the first time I saw her. Palagi ko siyang nakikita rito dahil madalas naman din akong magpunta sa restaurant na ’to. Palaging sa table rin na ’to ang pwesto ko. Every time she went here, hindi niya matagalan na tumingin sa mga mata ng customers. I am looking at her every time she’s here. I think I scared her.

And something happened. Nakabunggo niya ang isa sa katrabaho niya na may dalang drinks. I am just watching them. I noticed her shaking hands. Hindi  siya mapakali nang tulungan siya ng isang lalaki. Sinampal niya pa nga ito. After that incident, I didn’t saw her here again.

“Alpha, you fired your cook, again?” Mom asked me.

She’s here in my office. For the same reason, of course. She always come here everytime she heard the news that I fired my employee again.

“Yeah.”

Minsan naman ay kusang umaalis ang mga chef na nagtatrabaho sa akin. Maybe they’re scared or irritated at me. I can’t blame them, I am really a scary person when I am at work.

“Come on, Alpha! You always do that. Walang tatagal na chef sa ’yo kapag ganiyan ka!”

Hindi ko siya pinansin. Palagi naman siyang ganiyan. Kaya nagdadabog siyang umalis dito sa office ko.

Until now, I can’t find Letter. The girl in that restaurant. Hindi ko alam kung saan siya makikita ulit. That restaurant is strict. They can’t give infos about Letter. That’s why I am always grumpy and I always fired my employees every time I am annoyed.

Year passed and still I can’t find her. I fuck random girls, but my mind is occupied by that girl. What did she do to me? Why am I like this? Even Atashia find me weird the past months. She’s my ex, and she wants me back. But I can’t and I don’t wanna go back to her.

“Sir, you have an appoinment to Mrs. Clevente. Sa restaurant niya po mismo,” ani Rean.

Tumango na lang ako bilang sagot. Abala pa ako sa paper works ko. Sobrang dami. Tinambak sa akin ni Daddy lahat ng ito.

After I finished my paper works. I went to Mrs. Clevente’s restaurant. I have some meeting with her in her office. And destiny is really playful, huh? I saw Letter here. For year of finding her, I saw her now.

“How to pronouce your name, Miss?” Mrs. Clevente asked.

“FG, Ma’am.”

Her voice is really soft. My heart skips a beat because of that simple answer. Damn it!

“Your name is cool, huh. What a nice coincidence with Alpha,” ani Mrs. Clevente.

“What’s her name?” I asked.

Mrs. Clevente show me the resume of Letter. Hmm. Efghi Soriano. Her name is really from Alphabet, huh. Like my name: Abcd. And her name is the continuation of the last letter of my name. A very nice coincidence indeed.

Dahil nandoon siya sa sa restaurant ng isa sa kakilala ko, doon na rin ako madalas kumain. Kapag may meetings si Mrs. Clevente, doon ako nagpupunta sa office niya. Ilang beses kong hinanap si Letter pero mukhang sa kitchen siya naka-assign.

“Mr. Hansen, do you want to have lunch here? Ipagpapaluto kita sa chef namin,” Mrs. Clevente offered.

I nod. Of course I want to eat here. I want to see Letter. I hope she’ll come here.
