Leaky Cauldron

"Oi Pup!" yelled Father

"Yes Father," I said, walking down the stairs

"I just got a letter from Arthur Weasley stating that they are at Diagon Alley for the next week and were wondering if you wanted to join them," said Father, looking over the letter

"So I would be staying until school started?" I asked confused

"Well yes. They would take you to school and I would see you on the train or at Hogwarts as your Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher," he explained. I am happy he is going to be my teacher this year

"I want to go. If that's okay with you?" I smiled

"It is," he nodded smiling,"Go pack your stuff," he smiled

"Thank you Father," I kissed his cheek. 

I ran upstairs to my room and packed my almost-already-done trunk. I closed it and threw on my leather Jacket and did my normal hairstyle. I headed downstairs and saw a daily prohpet on the counter and picked it up to see my Dad had escaped from Azakban,"MOONY!" I yelled 

"What?" he said, walking in

I held the prophet up,"When were you going to tell me my Dad escaped from Azkaban?" I asked both frustrated and happy

"Oh-um-I didn't know how to bring it up," he said looking away from me

"Father. You could have just said it flat out," I said shaking my hands 

"Don't worry Y/n. You are perfectly safe," he smiled hugging me,"Your Dad doesn't know where we live and you'll be protected at Diagon Alley," 

"I know Father. I will see you at Hogwarts," I smiled hearing the fireplace go off,"Hello Mr.Weasley," I waved

"Hello Y/n dear. You ready?" he asked 

I nodded and hugged my father one more time before picking up my trunk

"I'll keep Mr.Screech with me until I see you on the train," said Father

"Okay. Bye Dad," I waved

"Bye Pup," he waved

I went with Mr.Weasley to Diagon Alley. He pulled me aside before we went into the Leaky Cauldron,"You know your father has escaped from Azkaban," he whispered

"I just found out he escaped. Should I be worried?" I asked

"It wouldn't surprise me if he came looking for you,"I felt both happy and worried. Most because yes I believe my Dad wouldn't betray his best friends but growing up hearing what he did to Wormtail,"Do not panic Y/n. I want you to promise me you wont go looking for him," 

"I promise," I nodded 

He nodded and we walked inside. He took my trunk up to Ginny and Hermiones room as I would be staying with them. 

"Y/n Lupin-Black," I turned around the see Harry smiling in a booth with hermione and Ron

"Harry Potter!" I hugged him,"How are you?" 

"Brilliant. Expect for the fact that your father is after me," he said

"Us. Actucually...he is after us...I guess," I said shrugging

"Damn. We gotta be careful," said Harry

I sat down next to Hermione and wrapped my arm around her,"Hey Girly," I smiled

"Hey Y/n/n," she smiled,"Fourth year. Are you studying for your O.W.L.s?" she asked

"Kind of," I shrugged,"I still got two years,"
