Clear Minds

"Y/n where are you going?" aksed Fred as I lugged my bookbag over my shoulder

"To the library so I can study,"I told him,"Why?" I asked leaning over the couch

"Just wondering. I feel like your always studying,"he said looking up at me

"Well I have my O.W.L.s this year," I told him,"I'll be back later tonight," I told him and George

I messed up his hair before heading out of the common. I walked down to the library; I went through one of the passageways that took a shortcut. I walked into the library and headed up to my study corner with the bean bag. I sat down and unpacked my bag.

I started on my essay for Astronomy which was halfway finished. It took me an hour to finish the last part of my essay. I took out my assignment for transfiguration and began working on it.

I jumped as I heard a book drop on the desk. I looked up from my beanbag to see Cedric standing with his bag unpacking it, "Sorry didn't mean to startle you," he said quietly

"You're fine,"I smiled softly

I looked down at my homework as he sat down at the table. I looked into my bag for my book and pulled it out. Luckily I was able to get new book for school with my Dads money and didn't have to ducktape my books anymore.

"So Y/n how has classes been?" he asked

"Pretty good. Just have tons of homework,"I complained

"Need  help?" he asked leaning forward

"No. Shouldn't you be working on your homework?" I asked looking up at him

"Oh I don't have any homework," he said leaning back

"Then why are you here?" I asked looking down to my work

"Do you want to go out sometime?" he asked

I was taken aback by his suddenness and tried not to seemed shocked,"I-I'll think about it,"

"Okay," he said simply

I continued my work as he placed his feet on the desk looking at me,"You know you beautiful right?"

"I know,"I said not looking up

"Good. Even with that scar on your back,"

I flushed as I thanked him

I finished my transfiguration assignment as he started working on the homework he had to do. After another hour of doing homework and studying he finally left and I relaxed a bit. I finished my work and headed back to the common room.

I joined the girls at a desk,"You'll never guess what happened to me," I sat down

'What?" asked Leanne looking up from her potions book

"Cedric asked me out," I told them quietly,"I told him I would think about it,"

"OMG!" yelled Katie loudly that everyone on in the common room looked over. She flushed embarrassed befor lowering her voice,"How did he ask you?"

I spent the next few minutes explaining everything that happened in the library.

"So he just flat out and ask you?" said Leanne surprised

"Yes," I nodded

"Just be careful," said Katie worried,"Thats how---"

"Bleby asked me out I know," I said looking down

"Bleby asked you out again?" I turned my head,"What is with him?  Cant he get the hint that you don't want to be with him," said Fred sitting with George and Lee at the next table over
