The Girl Who Spoke---Fred Weasley x Reader

Its been about a week since school started. I woke up on Wednesday morning having only one class today. Defense Against the Darks. Many people have mixed feelings about her. I don't want to judge but my gut tells me I won't like her very much. 

I was sitting with Katie in D.A.D.A. I was reading my book as people were messing around. 

"Good morning Children," said Umbridge. People sat down at their desks as she walked to the board and began writing with her hand"Nastily Exhausting Wizard Test. N-E-W-T. More commonly known as NEWTS. Study hard and you will be rewarded. Fail to do so and the consequences may be severe." she said in a high pitch peppy voice

I looked at Katie and Leanne with suspicion. My gut now was telling me this was going to be a horrible year. She waved her wand a textbooks came flying at us. 

"Your previous instruction in this subject has been disturbingly uneven. but you'll be pleased to know from now on you will be following a carefully structured, minister-approved course of defensive magic"

 I raised my hand"Yes," she said looking at me

"There is nothing in here about using defensive spells," I said, looking at her.

"Using spells?" she laughed in a girly voice. "Well, I can imagine why you would need to use spells in my classroom," she walked to mine and Katie's desk

"We're not going to use magic?" asked Cormac confused

"You will be learning about defensive spells in a secure, risk-free way," said Umbridge

"Well, what us is that?"If we're going to be attacked it won't be risk-free," I said

"Students will raise their hands when they speak in my class," said Umbridge walking back to the front of the room and facing us"It is the view of the Ministry that theoretical knowledge will get you through your examinations, which, after all is what school is all about,"

"And how is theory supposed to prepare us for what's out there?" I said, slamming my hand down

"There is nothing out there, dear," said Umbridge looking at me. "Who do you imagine would want to attack children, like yourself,"

"Oh I don't know, maybe Lord Voldemort,"I said licking my teeth. Everyone began to whisper around the class and many students kept their heads down

Umbridge smiled awkwardly and tried to remain calm. "Now let me make this....quite plain...You have been told a certain dark wizard is at large once again. This.....is.....a.....lie,"

"ITS NOT!"I yelled"Harry Potter saw him. We fought him!"

"Detention!" yelled Umbridge"Ms. Lupin-Black,"

"So, according to you, Cedric Diggory dropped dead of his own accord," I yelled at her standing up from my seat

"Cedric Diggory death was a tragic accediant," said Umbridge

"It was murder. Voldemort, kill him! You must know that bi-" I yelled at her angrily

"ENOUGH!" she yelled at me. "Enough. See me later Ms.Lupin-Black. My office," she walked up to me,"You mustn't believe these lies,"

I sat back down angrily. She made a peppy squeak and continued with the class. Katie rubbed my shoulder but I moved it off shaking my head. She nodded. Once class ended, I packed my bag up and headed up to Gryffindor common room. 

"Y/n," said Fred 

I turned to him,"What?" I snapped 

"Ive been calling you for the last five minutes. You okay love?" he asked cupping my cheeks
