My Date

"Y/n have you been asked yet?" asked Leanne as we headed to the library to study

"I have been asked but I refused,"I told her

Every chance Marcus Bleby asks me to the Yule Ball. I have rejected him 5 times. 

"Let me guess its Bleby?" said Katie setting down her books on a table

"Yup,"I nodded

We got out our homework since it was nearly the last day before break and we still had a few assignments to do. I was working on my potions essay when there was a tap on my shoulder. I looked up to see a beauxbaton boy handing me two white roses.

All of sudden Joshua came up with a poster that read 

'Y/N it would LIGHT up my night if you say YES to the Yule Ball' 

"Y/n will you go to ze yule ball with me?" asked Joshua 

I smiled as Leanne nudged my side,"Yes Joshua I would love to," I said getting up from my seat 

He hugged me tightly and I smelt spearmint and cedarwood,"Let me know what color your dress is," 

"I will,"I smiled at him 

He handed me the poster and a bouquet of red roses. He kissed my cheek before him and his friends walked away. I giggled as I sat back down. 

"Thats was so cute!" said Leanne smiling,"We have to get dresses now," 

"Luckily the last hogsmeade trip is Saturday," said Katie

"Come on lets go talk about what kind of dresses we want," said Leanne smiling

We packed up our bags and I grabbed the flowers and poster. I shrugged my bag over my shoulder. We headed up to the common room. I was getting questionable looks from people as they wondered what the flowers and poster was for. 

We walked into the common room

"I am thinking a light blue dress," said Leanne quietly 

"I think a light pink dress for me," said Katie quietly as we passed the boys 

"What are you three whispering about?" asked Lee 

We turned to them,"Our dresses," I said adjusting the stuff in my arms

"Whats all that?" asked Fred pointing to the poster as he flipped his hair back from his eyes

"A buaexbaton boy asked Y/n to the ball," said Katie showing them the poster

I flushed,"I've only talked to him a few times but he seems really sweet," I smiled,"Well we are going to go plan for our dresses," I waved them goodbye

I hopped out of the carriage with the girls as we headed to go get our dresses from the dress store. I linked arms with the girls as we headed to Gladrags Wizardwear. We headed inside 

"Hello Ladies. Yule ball dresses I presume?" asked the store clerk 

"Yes ma'am," I smiled 

She nodded and we went searching for dresses. I picked out a few dresses with the girls and we headed to the changing rooms. 

Katie and Leanne found their dresses while I was on my fourth one. I walked out of the dressing room 

"DAMN GIRL YOU LOOKIN FINE!"yelled Leanne
