I sat at the grill with my son jasper, we had a lunch date him and I, I didn't think being a single mom would be easy. It wasn't but I handled jasper well, his mom left us after he was born signing her rights away and cleaned up from birth and left us. Jasper is 7 now he is a hybrid like me wolf/witch his mother was a wolf I was already a witch/wolf hybrid since I used my powers to get her pregnant. It all complicated anyways I raised him on my own I moved to mystic falls next to my sister Caroline and she helped me with jasper. That's where I met her best friend Elena Gilbert immediately I was hooked on her from day 1. She was always helping with jasper when he was 2 she kissed me one night since than we been together I proposed to her when jasper was 5 we had to set back the wedding as of the whole epidemic with monsters and enemies. Now here I sit at the grill with my son staring at the ring Elena gave me after i proposed to her. "Hey mom can we go see Elena after this" jasper asked me I nodded smiling, "I wanna ask her something and you to" he said nervously holding a folder. He smiled and we left the grill he picked the flowers and everything since it's his idea and adoption. Once finished I called everyone to set up a party at the Salvatore house to announce it of course Stefan and Damon loves their nephew and couldn't say no. Elena called me and I told her to come to the Salvatore house I heard the door bell after we set things up and was confused. I yelled eyes glowing red my witch powers escaping my hands I was losing control but I didn't care I was done. "Baby baby calm please" Elena said kissing my shoulder I instantly calmed "Sarah was it let me tell you something since day 1 with Jasper I been by his side his first steps, his first words everything. I stared shocked at Elena her speech holy shit Caroline grabbed Sarah launching her outside I grabbed Elena kissing her gentle but rough. "Where's Jasper is he okay" I nodded Damon went to get him and Bonnie and he ran "Elena" he said hugging her she picked him up close. "Hey buddy have a good date with your mom" i smiled I love how she is with him "yeah but I have a surprise for you come on" he said running to the backyard where we set up the party. "What's all this for" she asked "Jasper has something he wants to ask you" I said she smiled and nodded. We all sat in chairs as he brought Elena and i to sit in front of everyone "Elena when you came around I was a little baby and overtime I have found you to not only be an amazing person to my mom but you take care of me like I'm your own". I teared up Elena did to holding my hand Jasper walked over with a folder "now that you're marrying my mom I have a present for you". Everyone cheered as I held both of them close to me "I love you mama" Jasper told Elena and she just cried more "I love you to kiddo" and we enjoyed the night as a new family🩵
