Tay opened his eyes, butall he saw was the red mud. He was still here, how was that possible? Finally,he moved his body against the heavy weight on top of him. He could push itaway; he realized after a couple of seconds of struggling. It wasn't dead thatwas leaning over him, it was another's person's body. A thousand thoughtsrushed through his mind. What had happened? Who was this person on top of him?Was he dead? Who had shoot at him? And why did anyone throw themselves inbetween him and the bullet? For a short moment Tay thought it was Vegas layingon top of him, but it wasn't his comforting sent, and the body was to heavy. Itmust be someone else. He could hear some voices speaking, as someone finallycame to his help and lifted up the heavy body above Tay. Tay's rips were stillhurting, the fall probably hat broken two or three of them. But he was fine. Helooked down his own body, it was bloody but it was his own blood that had beenshed. Quickly he looked over to the side, were his protected had been placed. He didn't need to see more than his heavily tattooed hand, to know who hadgiven himself to protect him. "No... that can't be." He whispered underneath hisbreath, quickly moving closer to the mountain of human. "Not you. Please..." thefirst tears creeped down Tay's face. The bullet had gone right into his chest."Ohm, you can't leave me." Now Tay was fully crying, the man that had grownsome what into a father to him, over the past couple of days. That had givenhim so much comfort and safety was laying in front of him. A bullet stuck inhis lung, slowly letting the blood stream into his lungs. "I am sorry" Taywhispered, as he pulled off his shirt to press it into the bubbling wound. "Youshouldn't had done this." He cried. Ohm slowly raised his hand onto Tay's. Asoft smile one his lips, as he struggled to catch another breath. "I swear Iwould protect you." He whispered. Tay could hear him struggling to do so."Someone call an ambulance." He cried, but no one moved. "Please someone, weneed to get him to a hospital. "They can't do that, Tay." Ohm smiled, "And thatis okay. They shouldn't" "No it isn't over yet. You are not going to die on me.I... I can't let that happen. Don't you hear me, call an ambulance now." Tayscreamed. Why did no one listen to him? If they moved quickly, they maybe had achance to safe Ohm. "We can't Tay." Vegas soft voice ripped Tay out of histrance. His head shoot around to his lover, that had made his way into themiddle of the building as well. Tay could see that singular tears had streameddown Vegas face as well, but now he seemed much too collected to cry. "I amsorry, Ohm. But we are all going to prison if we call the ambulance now. Thankyou for saving him." Vegas went onto his knees next to Tay and Ohm, holdingboth of their hands. "I am sorry, that she did something like this. I didn'tthought she would. I didn't..." Ohm tried to explain but Vegas stopped him. "Ibelieve you Ohm. She may is your wife, but she has betrayed us all tonight. Itisn't your fault." "What do you mean?" Tay looked around confused. He had beentoo focused on himself and Ohm to figure out what had happened. But now hefinally took the time to look around. Even with blurry eyes he could see Acharaon the side of the hall, being tied up on the ground while tears were streamingdown her face. "Achara was the one to shoot at you. Ohm threw himself in theway of the bullet." Vegas explained, his voice slightly shaking from thebetrayal they had experienced. Tay's attention wandered back to Ohm and Vegas.Vegas had gotten out a cigarette from his pocket and lit in Ohm's lips. "Enjoyone last one. We are going to stay here with you." Vegas gently smiled as heput his fire away. "Thank you for protecting us." Tay closed his eyes, couldn'tall this be just a simple nightmare that would end now. All of this, just aterrible dream? He leaned into Vegas as more tears streamed down his cheeks. What victims their love had taken, maybe it would have been better, if theynever had met at all. None of those people would have needed to die. "Justpromise me one last thing..." Ohm whispered a couple of moments later. Thecigarette was already halfway burned down. "Don't regret you love for oneanother. It was all worth dying for." Ohm weakly smiled before closing hiseyes. His breaths drew more shallow and lastly the cigarette not even smokedall the way fell out of mouth onto the bloody ground in which it drowned, justlike Ohm's lungs had done in his own blood. For a moment Tay and Vegas stayedthere and looked down onto their protector. Grieving for a second longer, before Vegas returned to the leader persona he needed to take on at thismoment.
