Tay still looked terrible the next morning as the two of them eat their breakfast. Both of them had been awfully quite ever since they had left the Mansion of Tay's friend, dealing with all the emotions they were feeling. It took time to process an event like that. It took time to realis that there was no one chasing them any longer. That they were free. But also that all of this wasn't to blame on them. Tay barely ate the following weeks. Vegas used all of his strength to get Tay to eat at least a little bit so he would starve to death, but wasn't feeling much better himself. They hadn't gone back to university yet. To much had happened to just return back to their normal live. Every day Vegas called Kinn to make sure his brother was doing okay. He was being just as miserable as the two of them had been. After a week he, Porschay and Porsche went back to Maccaus home. Making sure that Maccau wasn't all to long alone but at the same time in his familiar space. His safe space even.

While being stuck in their sadness Maccau had slowly picked back the contact to his brother. It wasn't the way it used to be, but Vegas was happy about every step Maccau took to get back close to his brother.

Five weeks after the incident Vegas finally felt fit to dive back into his role as a leader. There were still many questions unopened. Actually not many just one. Why did Achara shoot at Tay after the whole thing had been over. Vegas finally needed his closure. He had asked Kinn to keep Achara in their prison in the basement of his mansion and Kinn had agreed. He had also agreed to Vegas condition not to investigate until Vegas wanted them to do so. After these weeks he finally felt stable enough again to think about that horrible day. Before going to Kinns place he dropped of Tay at his therapist. Ever since the incident Tay had decided to actively work through all the things that had happened to him, and Vegas fully supported him. Sometimes Tay even tried to talk him into going to therapy as well. Which Vegas was still declining every single time. He knew Tay just meant well, but therapy just wasn't for Vegas. Or so he though.

And now he stood there, about to enter the basement. He took one last deep breath before he finally opened to door and wandered down the steps. The basement was dimly lit up, even at night the light never fully went out, to make sure no one would try to escape hidden in the dark. Most of the time the prisons were empty down here, but not today. Achara sat with here back towards the stairs. The sight of here filled him with disgusted. All he saw in the person in front of him was the backstabbing bitch she was. She had been such a trusted part of Vegas system, and he never questioned her intention until it had been to late. All this woman portrayed wad the failure and blindness. All of this had been Vegas fault, why didn't he cheek her background again and again. There must had been something that would had given her away before she could had done what she did.

Achara didn't move. She just sat there. She didn't even looked up as Vegas opened to door to her cell. He wanted to make this woman suffer. Even if she would start speaking up about who had hired her right away, he would still play with her before finally killing her off. Like a cat did with a mouse. He would play with her, make her feel all the pain she had brought upon him and Tay. He rolled his eyes as Achara didn't move. Still acting stubborn even though she had nothing left anymore.
