Vegas had quickly placed Tay in his car and gave him the location, that they would meet at, before running to his own bike and speeding through the traffic to there location. He took a different route than Tay, to avoid people following him. As he entered the shop, he saw the somehow trusted face of the tattoo-bear that had given Tay his first tattoo with a worried look he nodded towards the back of the shop, where he worked on his art. "Thank you." Vegas bowed quickly before rushing into the room. Tay was still shaking. He sat on a bench, holding onto a water bottle. "You went back, didn't you?" Slowly Vegas stepped closer sitting down next to his good boy. Weakly he nodded as he rested his head onto Vegas strong shoulders. "You didn't need to step in. I could have handled it on my own." Tay whispered, while sucking in Vegas calming sente. "I know..." Gently Vegas caressed Tay's hair. "I know how strong you are, but I... I just couldn't keep calm anymore." A soft kiss was placed onto Tay's forehead. Tay's soft fingers had grabbed onto Vegas hands and gently played with them. "I don't understand, why he said it." Tay whispered after some time that he had listened to their heartbeats. "Doesn't he know, how hard it is for me to open up about it." Tay swallowed. Vegas just shock his head. "He doesn't deserve your trust and he never did." Tay just nodded weakly. "I don't know what I will do, if I see his face again." For a short moment the anger came back, but as soon as he felt Tay moving his head slightly, it was gone again. With big eyes he looked up at Vegas. "Kinn is going to handle it. Trust me, he doesn't play when it comes to that matter." A soft kiss was exchanged, before both of them went back into their original position, quietly enjoying being with each other. Gathering power and energy for the next fights that will come. They could hear costumers coming in and getting their tattoos done, but never were they interrupted.
After a couple of hours, the face of the friendly man looked into the room. "Guys, I am sorry. I would love to give you some more time, but I need to get home, it's my wife's birthday." He smiled apologetic. Vegas and Tay nodded. They had charged up and calmed their mind by now. Able to face all the pain in the world as long as they had each other. Vegas brought his good boy to his car, gave him his final goodbye before he returned home himself.
"What do you have to do with Tay?" the deep voice of Vegas father sounded, as soon as Vegas stepped food into his house. "What do you mean father?" Vegas hadn't even striped of his shoes as his father has raised his voice again. He barely spoke with Vegas, only if it was a matter of business the two of them would talk. And then it was rather his father giving instructions instead of a normal conversation. "I have heard that you punched Time today as he was arguing with Tay." His father had a glass of whiskey in his hand, in which he carefully swayed the liquor in. "Have you?" Vegas walked past his father into the living room area. "I ask you again Vegas, what do you have to do with Tay?" His father seemed to get more annoyed as Vegas tried to doge the question. Vegas toke a deep breath. "I am trying to gain his trust, okay? Time and Tay have broken up, they stay together for the public but everyone knows that that is only the front. If I am trying to get to the resources of his family. And the best way to do so, is to gain Tay's trust." Vegas admitted as he leaned back into the soft cushions. A satisfied smile went over his fathers face. "Have you gained his trust yet?" his father poured a drink for Vegas before sitting down next to him. "It shouldn't be to long until I have it fully. Just a little longer." Vegas explained. "You should hurry up. We could really use his father's influence." With that his father left leaving Vegas alone with the glass in front of him. In one go he drank the glass empty.
It was raining the next day as Tay got up. Theworld seemed darker today, than yesterday, demotivating Tay and his attempts ofgetting up. The pain had luckily faded. The house was quite as, Tay reached thedining room to find his plate still present on the table, while the other placewere already emptied. His father must know by now, that he was home again. But apparently,he was busy enough that Tay didn't ran into him. The wind was blowing, and theradio announced an upcoming storm, that was supposed to hit the city later atnight. The food had already gone cold, but Tay was to tired to request themaids to warm it up again. His eyes didn't want to stay open today. They cravedto gat back into the soft bed. But Tay had things to do. He needed to go to university, and he was supposed to meet Vegas up at their rooftop.
