Afterwards he started tocut some vegetables and prepared some sauces for their burgers. He set up the table,so they only needed to put the burger together. "What do you want to drink?" Tayasked as he had watched Vegas for a bit. "Beer maybe. I don't think that winewill fit." Tay nodded. Together they ate at a small table on the peace whilelooking out over the sea that was hidden in the darkness. The sun had fully setwhile they were cooking. The two boys were sitting in the dark, having somecandles on their table that gave them enough light, to see their food. "Do youlike it here." Vegas had taken Tay's hand as they were done with eating. Bothof them held a cane of bear in their hand. "I do. It's so peaceful. Like thereis only you and me in this world. And no one is able to disturb that." Taysmiled dreamily while letting his eyes wander of into the distant darkness. "Doyou like it here?" he asked after had taken a sip of his bear. "I like that youare here with me. I would like anywhere if only you are by my side." Taylaughed at the clinginess of his words and softly boxed Vegas into his side."Sometimes you are very cheesy." He laughed. "I am only cheesy when I am withyou." Insisted Vegas before giving Tay a quick kiss on his cheek. They gotquite again. Their eyes staring at the sea and waves. "Vegas?" Tay whisperedhoping that Vegas wouldn't hear him, so he didn't need to ask the question, that was spinning in his mind. "Mhm." He answered. "How long do you think wecan be like this?" Tay didn't want their bubble to burst again. He didn't wantto go back to his normal life. "What do you mean?" Vegas took his gaze of thesea and looked back at Tay. "I mean this Situation we are in. How long do youthink it will take, till we can not see each other again." Tay didn't want tohave an answer to that at least not a realistic one. "I don't know." Vegas washonest. He had no idea. Maybe this trip would be last time they could be thisclose to each other. A small voice in his mind just wished, that Tay would getover him quickly so he would be able to move on and be with some else thatwould make him happy. "If we cannot see each other again, I want you to forgetabout me. Don't waste even the smalls thought on me. Move on, find some onenew, that will give the comfort that I am trying to give you." Vegas swallowedhard. Tay nodded. "What even makes you think, I would think about you." Taywhispered. His voice shaking as if he was close to tears. Vegas couldn't seeit, as the darkness hid Tay's beautiful face from him. "Then there is nothing Iam worried about anymore. Just move on and forget every moment we spent witheach other so far. I will do the same." Vegas didn't understand himself. Whydid he feel so heavy now. Why did this wave of deep sadness roll over him andswallowed him whole. Tay stayed quiet. He had to fight with his tears anddidn't trust his voice to break away into a sob as soon as he would open hismouth again. "Promise me..., that you will forget about all this, Tay." Vegas neededto know, that Tay would move on. "I... I promise yo-..." Tay started sobbing. Hecouldn't finish sentence as sad gasp for air left his lungs. I am too deep; I am lost already. Tay knew it all. Gently Vegas placed his arm aroundTay. "You are such a good boy." He whispered, blinking away the tears thatsuddenly tried to surface. Carefully he kissed his boy's temple before pullinghim closer to his chest. Soft sobs left the bay as he trembled in his arms.Violently shaking and gasping for air in between his whining. The noises hemade so sad, that singular tears ran down Vegas's face. Vegas didn't rememberedthe last time he had cried. He never cried. His father would be him green andblue if he did so. But now as he held Tay in his arms, that cried so sadlyabout their relationship, that he couldn't control himself anymore. Vegas swallowed hard. He felt terrible and solost and alone. All he wanted to do, was to tell him, that he was safe, thatthis moment they both feared so much at the moment would come ever. But he knewit was unavoidable. He knew that they fall down from the high they were inright now faster then they would know. Scattered on the floor broken like aplate thrown in a fight. Something that no one ever will be able to put backtogether. They would just be trash for others. Rubbish that was laying on thefloor and everyone would ignore. Vegas already knew the beating he would getfrom his father, if he wouldn't even go that far then to kill him. He still hadback up in his little brother and he didn't need Vegas to succeed. What wouldbe stopping him, to end him after all this came to light. If he would havenbeen so attached to Tay, he probably would think of it as in brilliant idea, but know it was to late. Vegas was too deep. Even though, he was sure, that hewasn't in love with Tay, he was addicted to him. To his touch. His smile. Moreimportantly his happiness. For some reason it has gotten Vegas' highestpriority since he had first slept with him. The only thing that was left to do,was to wait till they were too high, got to close to the sun and theirself-build wings would fall apart. Till they would crash into the raging sea,and both drown in its crushing waves. A tragic ending not be avoided by eitherof them. Tay's eyes finally meet again Vegas as he slowly lifted up his head.Red puffy eyes meeting the cold orbs of Vegas. Only the soft glitter traces thatthe single tears of Vegas had left, telling Tay, that Vegas felt just like him.Desperately he connected their lips. As of their kiss would resolve all theproblems those two where probably going to face. Gently their warm lips movedonto each other. Pulling one another closer in in an attempted of neverseparating again.
