It had taken over an hour, until Maccau finally had stopped sobbing, and the first words left his mouth. "How... how could you Vegas. He was our father." Vegas wasn't sure how top answer him. He didn't knew either. "I don't know Maccau. I just knew that this was the only way for me and Tay." "For you and Tay and what about me? What am I supposed to do now?" Again, tears streamed down Maccaus face. "I am sorry." "I know he wasn't a good father, if not to say he was terrible as a father. Non the less he was our father. We don't have anyone else to rely on." Maccau tried to grasp for air as the sobbing returned. However, he needed to talk now. "I know. But he was never someone we could rely on. We only sticked with him, because we had nowhere to go. He never acted like a father to us. All he ever saw in us, was workforce that he could use however he wanted. Not his two children that have their own lives and goals. We were never more than a tool for him to get what he wanted. And I am sick and tired of that. Now me and Tay have enough to support ourselves. The world is open for us and for you finally too." Vegas tried to explain. But how could one explain that he killed someone's fathers for their own good? "But it doesn't feel like that? It feels like you ripped away one of my little support lines. We never had many and you have taken another away from me." Maccau couldn't look into the eyes of his brother. He wasn't sure if he was mad, or sad, or relieved. All he knew was the pain he felt in that moment. The feeling like someone had punched him in the stomach and all the air in his lungs was pressed out. The feeling of his anyway fragile heart being thrown against a wall and shattering. Hie head hurt and his eyes were burning. On one side he was happy and glade that his brother was well and alive. That nothing had happened to either him or Tay. That they finally could be happy together. But at the end of the day, all of this happiness meant that he lost his father. "I know Maccau and I am so sorry that I need to do this to you." Vegas stumbled towards his brother, he wanted to pull the fragile boy in front of him into his arms. But Maccau pushed his arms aside. "I am glad that you are fine, and nothing happened to you. But I don't really want to see you right now..." "Okay I understand. I can't let you go home today. The clean up will take a bit of time. If you want to, you can stay at Tay's place, get your own room there and you won't even know Tay and I are there. Or you can stay with our uncle and Kinn. Or with some of your friends if that will be the better option. The decision is up to you. You need to know what you need in this moment and if the thought of me being in the same house as you are, is too much than it is totally fine to stay somewhere else. I just want you to know your options. And more importantly I don't want you to be alone after this. So, I won't let you go to a hotel or anything like that." Vegas swallowed. He tried his hardest to keep his voice steady. What had he expected? That his brother wouldn't hate him after what he had done to their father? Obviously that wouldn't happen. But not being able to take care of him on his darkest days hurt him even more. He wanted to be one of those support lines for him, but his presence would only hurt him more. "Okay. I think I am going to stay with Kinn." "Okay, I am going to drop you off at their place and then get some stuff from our house for you, anything you want?" Maccau just shrug with his shoulders. He couldn't think about such trivial thoughts at that moment. Vegas nodded before leading Maccau out of the room to their car.

Togetherwith Maccau he entered the mansion. Quickly talking to Korn and letting him knowabout the situation before he picked up Tay and left again. He needed to respectMaccaus boundaries. Even though Tay and him would have much rather spent thenight at Mansion with Kinn and the others, just to distracted them from the lonelinessthat was about to settle upon them. A lot of people believe that one should behappy after finally breaking out of once shackles. But they weren't at the endof the day, they were at fault for many people's death and injuries. All theywere at this moment were the murderers of their own fathers.

I feel like the two of them are very grown up about all that has happened. Show would have known that Vegas actually was good at comunicating. I guess when it comes to his brother everything is diffrent.
