"Darling, you should have told me how bad it was." Tay was irritated. What was bad? Had he missed something. What was Vegas talking about. His confused eyes tried to meet Vegas' but his eyes were directed onto something else in his face. "It must have hurt, when your father hit you. Your cheek still looks terrible. Did you apply some ointment?" Gently Vegas reached out, to let his rough fingers carefully trace the bruise on Tay's cheek. As if his touch would let them heal faster. Tay couldn't hide the smile that was creeping up. He enjoyed the worries that he could hear out of Vegas voice, the softness he used with him and gentle way he was trying to be close to him. "It's okay. It doesn't hurt." He answered watching Vegas further. Seeing him smile sadly before finally letting go of his cheek and directing his attention to Tay himself. The way his eyes looked at him, craved to be closer to him, but his head screaming that he still needed to keep his distance, as he couldn't be sure, that Tay wanted him to be close. "Are you going back tonight." He whispered, slowly letting himself sink into the chair next to Tay, without leaving him out of sight. Tay smiled while shaking his head. He did not intend to go back, till his father would apologies to him. He had hurt Tay with his words, and he was the one that should take the first step this time. "Then will you go out for dinner with me tonight?" He nearly sounded shy asking like that. But Tay enjoyed it. This new side to this person that he thought he had known for such a long time. In that moment his phone announced a new message on Tay's phone. A little devil inside of Tay's head screamed at him to look at his phone before answering, just to drag it out a little longer and make Vegas suffer a little bit. Of course, he would say yes. There was nothing wrong with grabbing some food together and he really wanted to spend some time again with Vegas. Kinn would probably do something work related anyway and wouldn't have the time to do something with his guest. All that Tay would be able to do at his place then, was to bore himself. Quite literally he had nothing better to do, then to meet up with Vegas. He could hear Vegas sight in frustration as Tay reached for his phone that was still laying on the table. The message proofed Tay's assumption that Kinn would not be home tonight. Kinn had texted him, that he took Porsche out for a date. He just wanted to inform his guest. Tay acted as if the message was longer, as if he needed to read intensely, dragging his answer out intensely. "Tay?" Vegas asked a little annoyed but that didn't bother Tay. "Oh, yes. Kinn just canceled on me. I guess I have nothing better to do." Exactly Tay, make him feel like he is your second choice. However, Vegas just smiled happily. Not annoyed or sad, or mad. He seemed just happy that Tay has agreed to see him tonight. Which made Tay quickly feel bad again, for treating Vegas that way. But he needed to do that. He needed to make Vegas work to make up to him. "I'll send you when and where. Don't wear anything fancy, where not going to go to a five-star restaurant or something like that." Vegas explained quickly with that big smile, before gently but quickly placing a kiss on Tay's forehead and escape the room. Tay was too stunned to say anything. Just this small touch made his heart skip a beat. He hated himself for it, but couldn't hide the smile and the redness in his cheeks. He loved these small simple gestures. He enjoyed them every single time.
