Vegas decided to stop atMaccaus favorite restaurant. He had no way to bring Maccau to his home, theclean up was still going on. They were quite until they had gotten their food,sitting in a private room. The room they usually got, when they ate at this restauranttogether. "P'Vegas, can you now tell me what is going on. Otherwise, I amprobably going to go insane." Maccau finally had enough. His thoughts had gone througheverything he could think of but still couldn't decide what was worst. Vegaslooked down onto his hands. He still wasn't sure how he was supposed to explainwhat had happened. "Well, Maccau, I think you have heard about me and Tay."Maccau nodded, "Yeah, you tried to get closer to him to get more influence andpiss Kinn of. I have heard our father talk about it." "Well, that isn't true. Ihave been approaching Tay for quite a bit now for longer than what our fatherknew about. Me and Tay we actually have been seeing each other for a couple of weeksnow. And we do not plan on stopping that. When I first approached him, myintention was to piss of Kinn." Vegas took a deep breath before he continued, "However,I have fell for Tay quicker than I knew. He had me wrapped around his littlefinger for a long time. He still does. I only made up the excuse, when ourfather asked me about it. He had heard about me seeing Tay and confronted me aboutit. I couldn't tell him the truth you know how our father is." Vegas swallowedas he looked into the confused eyes of his brother. "Is that it? Was that allyou were going to tell me? Just that you have fallen in love? Gosh Vegas thatreally isn't a big deal." Maccau laughed a little but felt relived. "It isn't."Vegas watched as the expression on his brother's face changed again. "Me andTay have upset a lot of people with our dating, Tay's father, Time and ourfather as he figured out, that we actually loved one another. We couldn't see away of being together without it escalating. Maccau, you must know, everythingthat I did today, I did because I saw now other way. I can't lose Tay. I willcollapse without him by my side. I don't think I am even able to survive a daywithout having Tay by my side. We both have tried to stay away from oneanother. We really did try to keep our distance as not to upset our families. Tayeven..." Vegas needed to stop as the memories rushed back into his head. He hadtried to avoid thinking about that evening in the bathroom, as Tay tried tokill himself. "He... he even tried to kill himself." Vegas took a sip of hisdrink, as he tried to cover up, how much thinking about it was hurting him. "Hetried to kill himself?" Maccau looked up shocked at Vegas words. He had no cluethat Vegas and Tay had been struggling so much. "Tay stayed in a safe house thelast days. Recovered from his attempt and we started planning how we would be ableto be together. Well Today our plan set in motion. Tay's father started toattack our home as he thought Tay and I were in hiding there. We weren't but weknew that this would happen and planned it. A lot of people died in the shoot outuntil Tay's and our father figured out that they were both trying to achievethe same thing, which was separating us." Maccau listened with big eyes, shockedby the news his brother was bringing him. "We set them up to come to awarehouse. Both me and Tay have been getting in contact with our fathers' men gettingthem on our side and to protect us. Plan A was to pressure them into allowingus to stay together. We didn't even wanted any money, they could have cut usoff. But they didn't listen. We told them that none of us would give up withouta fight. That we had gotten a lot of their men assembled behind us. And if itmeant that we would need to kill every single one of them we would do so. ButMaccau they didn't listen. Not even once. Time was shoot before the actualshootout even had started. He made all of these disgusting comments about Tay,until he had finally enough and pulled the trigger. I was hoping Tay's and ourfather would listen then. But they didn't. Instead, they insisted, that wewould pull through with killing them anyways, because they were our ownfathers." Vegas tried to swallow down his tears. Maccau had figured out, whereVegas was going with all that, silently tears streamed down his cheeks, stillhoping that his father was just injured and not dead. "I really didn't want totake it that far Maccau. I really tried not to go this far. But I needed to doit. I can't let go of Tay, I will die without him. But he and Tay's father diedin the shootout." Maccau started to sob loudly. He collapsed into himselfleaving him a puddle of cries. "You can hate me, that is understandable. Iwould hate me too if I was you. But I really couldn't see another way. If I wouldhave seen one, I would have taken it. I don't want to hide anything from you, Iwas the one that killed our father. We were fighting and I stabbed him. Hebleed out at the scene. I am so so sorry." Vegas was crying just as Maccau was.Shaking as he tried to regain his composure. "I really, really tried. Really, Idid." He sobbed trying to get a word out of his brother. But Maccau just satthere and cried. Not able to form even one word
