Delaney Sugg
It was the next morning. James, I assume, is over the whole parent thing. I got up this morning at 8 and he was already outside flipping on the trampoline. Randy was still asleep so I decided to go out and talk to Randy a little more. I put on a sweatshirt and walked outside.
"Mind if I come on?" I asked smiling. James stopped jumping and smiled a little.
"Ya, come on." He shrugged. I opened the net and went inside. I started jumping a little and we laughed.
"I haven't jumped on one of these for a while." I giggled.
"I can tell. You gotta do flips! Its the best!"
"I cannot do flips! Ever since I was younger I was never able to do that."
"Well, I'll teach ya. Its pretty simple really. Just sit off to the side."
"Alright." I sat down on the side of the trampoline and watched James carefully.
"First thing to do is to get air while jumpin'. You gotta get up high." James explained. He started jumping up high so his head was just over the net.
"Now you gotta make sure to tuck your knees in and pretend to throw a watermelon."
"A watermelon?" I asked confused.
"Yup! Now just watch!!" James continued jumping when he got really high he stuck his arms up and threw them forward and he flipped landing on his feet in the center.
"Woah! That was amazing!" I clapped.
"Thanks. Now you try." James nodded. He sat off to the side and shrugged. I started jumping really high and remembered to tuck in my knees. I pretended to chuck a watermelon but as I was in mid air I got scared. I screamed and straightened my legs causing me to face plant the trampoline.
"Well...that was a fail." I groan sitting up.
"Yeah. Lets see if Randy can do one.....RANDYYYY!!!! GET OUTSIDE NOW!" James yelled loudly. The sliding door opened and Randy stepped out with a mountain dew in hand.
"Whats up bud?" Randy replied.
"Come do a flip."
"Sure! I love doing those!" I laughed and got out of the trampoline. "But James, you need to get out of the tramp too. I need as much space as possible."
"Sure thing! Go for it!" Randy got on the trampoline and started jumping. He did a front flip. Then he continued jumping and did a back flip followed by some fancy back flip where he twisted in the air. My mouth was wide open.
"What? You turned on by my amazing abilities?" Randy panted while smirking.
