"We know this is alot to ask of you Anakin, especially with you just being knighted. But we believe if anyone can find Obi-Wan, it's you." Mace spoke as the other Jedi Council members nodded in agreement.

"He was so distraught after Qui-Gon Jinn's death, We know he would have never went into hiding if he was still alive." Mace continued with a hint of sadness in his voice. "We need him Anakin, now more than ever. The Clone Wars are starting soon, He must be found."

"What if he doesn't want to be found, Master?" Anakin asked looking to the older man.

"Serious, this is Anakin." Yoda spoke staring into the young boy's eyes. "Find Obi-Wan, you must. Bring him back, for the sake of our people, you will."

"Yes Master Yoda, I promise I will find him and speak with him."

"Go alone, you will, for now. Should you need someone, we will answer." Yoda replied as he and the other members nodded.

"You leave tomorrow morning." Mace simply stated as the Council started clearing the room.

"Yes, master." Anakin replied walking out of the Council Room. He had never liked to talk about Obi-Wan since he abandoned Anakin many moons ago. It wasn't fair, he left without warning. Without even a goodbye. It was as though Anakin's master had died as well.

It had been 7 years since the man left and yet, it felt to Anakin as if it had happened yesterday.

The next few years were hard as Anakin entered his teenage years. Mace had taken on the challenge of training Anakin and he was grateful, but Mace was never Obi-Wan.

Obi-Wan was the only one there for him after Qui-Gon Jinn died, the only one who took the time to train him. The only one in the beginning who thought he was worth training.

And Obi-Wan threw it all away as if he was nothing. It made Anakin glow red when he thought about it. Merely 12 years old when he left. He became an angsty teen, mad at the galaxy. But more importantly, mad at Obi-wan.

They were both mourning the death of their late Master, yet Obi-Wan couldn't look past his own feelings to see that, the small boy was also hurting.

Anakin felt a lot of darkness in himself, even Yoda seemed to pick up on it sometimes.

He didn't want to feel that way anymore. He wanted to be truly happy.

"I would've went with him, if only he had asked." Anakin spoke to himself quietly, walking into his quarters. "I would've followed him anywhere." He continued with a sigh as he walked to the fresher.

Splashing cool water on his face did very little to help, he was red with anger as all of the memories and thoughts came back. He tried hard to keep them locked away, hidden from himself and others.

"He deserves to know how I feel. How it felt to be abandoned." He thought as he removed his tunic and robes for a hot shower.

The rest of the night was spent packing, and thinking.

"Alright Artoo, hang on." Anakin spoke to the little droid has the ship rose to life and sped away. Artoo making a loud scream in response. "Oh come on, my piloting skills aren't that bad." Anakin joked as he set the coordinates.
