Kanan Jarrus had never given much thought to the concept of Death.
He had been a Jedi for as long as he could remember, raised in the hallowed halls of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. From a young age, the Force had been his guiding light, and the teachings of the Order had become the foundation of his existence, the philosophy he led his life by. He had been taught to embrace the Force, to accept that life and death were interconnected, that he would return to the Force and be one with it, as he had been prior to his birth, like every other Jedi and being.
It was a lesson ingrained in him during his time in the creche, a doctrine he had absorbed so thoroughly that he rarely contemplated it further. So really, nothing had prepared him for this.
The Force Afterlife.
Truth be told he hadn't even known it was a real thing, not until his Master had held onto his soul after his death and told him to use her as an anchor through the Force. Time had passed by and he still couldn't enter the afterlife because of the difficulty the practice took, the weight of the Force being too heavy apparently, though he did not understand what that meant.
Nonetheless, he had finally gotten to join everyone, including his master, in the afterlife after the death of Darth Sidious and Darth Vader, the Force at balance with the return of its son and the end of the Sith.

Master Obi-Wan Kenobi's eyes sparkled with affection as he leaned closer to his former Padawan, intertwining their hands together and bringing it to his lips. "I wish we didn't leave our bed so early today, I already miss the feel of you clenching around me, dear one."
Anakin Skywalker, former Sith Lord, playfully smacked his Master's chest with his free hand, a hint of embarrassment flushing his handsome face. "Don't say that here!" he chided in a hushed tone, casting a quick, anxious glance around to check if anyone had heard them. His cheeks grew even redder when he noticed the expressions of uncomfortableness everyone around them had donned.
Master Kenobi couldn't suppress a slight smirk, his gaze remaining locked on Anakin. "Forgive me, my love, for being so forward. I know how it makes you so uncomfortable. But the memory of the most delightful way by which I was woken up today is quite hard to ignore."
