Summary: Taylor and Travis had only been dating for a couple months and are having a peaceful date night which is sadly interrupted by some guests.

*********

"Dibbles, no." Taylor reprimanded the middle cat, who was sticking out her paw to try and knock over a vase of flowers. "Bad kitty. Get down." She shooed the cat away, who meowed and jumped off of the coffee table, stalking away.

Taylor sighed. "Okay, I think that's everything."

Taylor and Travis had been dating for only three months and it was the first time that Taylor was staying over at his apartment.

Travis had football practice today, and even though he offered to call out numerous times so he didn't have to leave, Taylor insisted and then decided that it would be cute and fun if she set up a little small date night for when he got back.

So she made the pasta that she made when Travis came over to her house for their first date, along with some wine for her and a beer for him, and some cute little flowers just for decoration, which Olivia almost ruined.

Taylor had just finished setting the drinks down on the coffee table when she heard keys jingling before the door opened. "Tay, baby. I'm home!"

"In the living room!" Taylor called back.

Travis walked in a few moments later with his duffel bag slung over his shoulder.

"Hey, sweetie. What's- What's this?" He asked.

"I thought I'd set up a cute little date for when you got back. I made that paste that I made on our first date. And I set up flowers and thought we could watch tv and cuddle. Is- it cool?" Taylor asked, seeking the validation of her partner like she's never gotten any before. Because, let's be honest, she really hasn't.

"Awe, Tay. This- this is beautiful." Travis replied, like it was the most precious thing ever. "I love it, baby."

Taylor smiled, blushing. "Uhm, so do you wanna get changed and cleaned up and then we can eat?"

Travis nodded. "Yeah, yeah. I'll be right back. Is there an attire for this date, Ms. Swift?"

"Just comfortable, sleep attire." Taylor replied and Travis nodded. "Aye aye, captain. Be right back."

Travis sped off towards the bedroom and Taylor smiled as he went off. Yeah, that's my boy.

When he came back, he was in a plain grey t-shirt and black and red plaid pajama pants. "Alright! How's this?" He asked, doing a little twirl for effect.

Taylor giggled. "Perfect. Now get over here before the food gets cold."

Travis made his way over and sat down next to Taylor on the couch, quickly putting an arm around her shoulders and pulling her body into his side. He grabbed his bowl of pasta with his other hand and set it in his lap.

"I forgot how delicious this was." Travis groaned after he took his first bite. Taylor laughed, grabbing her bowl as well. "Mm, so, what're we watching?"

"Is American Pie okay?" Taylor asked.

"American Pie is always okay." Travis replied.

Travjs and Taylor got settled in as the movie started, wrapped up in each other's arms.
