Summary: Travis has his friends over to relax so Taylor tries to stay out of their way as to not ruin it. Travis sees her trying to sneak past them at one point and tells her to join them, only enticing her confusion and bringing back up memories of past scenarios with her ex's friends coming over.

"Alright, yeah! The sounds good." Taylor heard Travis' voice as she shut the door to the house. She set her purse down on ghetto little table next to the door and started walking through the house to find her boyfriend.

After following his voice, she came across him in the living room, laughing on the phone. He glanced over when she entered and smiled brightly. "I'll let you go. Yeah, see you then." He hung up the phone and Taylor walked farther in the room, sitting down next to him.

"Hey." She smiled, setting her head on his shoulder and letting out a sigh. "Hey there." Travis replied, tossing an arm to lay on the couch behind her shoulders. "How were your meetings?"

"Good." Taylor replied. "Boring. So, uh, who were you talking to?"

"Just Patrick." Travis replied. "He was hoping we could hang out these upcoming days, with a few other friends. And I actually suggested that they could come over here, if that's okay with you?"

"Fine by me. This isn't my house so I don't think it matters what I want." She jokes.

"Of course it does." Travis replied. "You're still staying here. This is your space as much as it is mine."

Taylor smiled softly, cuddling into his chest. "Awe, that's very sweet."

"Of course, baby." Travis replied, kissing her head. "So, is it cool if they come over on Sunday evening? We were just gonna play some games, maybe watch a movie or something."

"Yeah, yeah. That's cool." Taylor replied. "I'll make y'all some snacks to eat while you play." Taylor said.

"You don't have to do that, baby." Travis replied.

"I want to!" Taylor replied. "You just relax with your friends."

"Have I told you how much I love you?" Travis asked.

"Maybe." Taylor giggled. "Just don't worry. I'll make you some snacks before they get here and then stay out of your way."

"You don't have to stay out of our way." Travis replied. "You're never in the way. You're my girlfriend. My beautiful girlfriend." He kissed her forehead and Taylor giggled, burying her head farther into his chest.

A few days later, Taylor was finishing up the cheese and cracker platter as well as the little sandwiches for Travis' friend who should be here any second now.

"Mm, this looks amazing!" Travis exclaimed when he walked into the room with nothing but a towel around his waist since he had just gotten out of the shower. "Thank you, baby." He said, leaning over to kiss her temple.

"Of course." Taylor replied. "Are they gonna be here soon?"

"Yeah, maybe like fifteen minutes." Travis replied.

"Then you should probably put some clothes on." Taylor replied. "Sorry, but I'm the only one that gets to see all this." She said, circling her finger over his chest.

"Ooh, possessive, are we?" Travis laughed.

"I wouldn't say possessive." Taylor shrugged. "Just... aware of what's mine. That's all."
