When Did You Get Hot?

This was not a request I just thought it would be fun:)

Summary: Taylor and Travis have been best friends since they were little toddlers. They're now about to go into highschool together when the unexpected news comes that Travis' family has to move away, leaving both children devastated. But what happens when they meet again years later after not talking or seeing each other since he left. And more importantly, why is Taylor feeling some sort of... attraction to Travis for the first time, well, ever?

I was originally gonna have Taylor be the person that 'got hot' but let's be honest, that woman has never been unattractive a day in her life. Not that Travis had, but I have seen pictures of him in high school and the glow up is noticeable asf👍

"Ringgg!"

"Alright, have a great summer everyone!" Mrs. Patterson yelled out to the class as everyone scattered up and grabbed their books, scurrying out of the classroom as fast as they could as if it was a race.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were the last ones out of the classroom, choosing to take their time and wait until they both have all of their stuff so that they could walk out together.

They walked to their lockers that were right next to each other and began putting their stuff away.

"Y'know, I'm kinda gonna miss this place." Travis commented, grabbing his backpack out of his locker so he could put his stuff up easier.

"Yeah, me too." Taylor agreed. "Even if not all of them were good memories."

"Oh- you mean like that one time when you meant to grab an important essay for English class but accidentally grabbed a paper with some original song lyrics on it?" Travis chuckled.

"It wasn't funny!" Taylor exclaimed. "It was very embarrassing."

"She let you bring the paper in the next day though! And she's very strict. So you're lucky, really." Travis shrugged.

"The only reason she let me bring it in was because I've never made any sort of mistake like that and I'm such an amazing student that she let me bring it in but still bumped the grade down to a C! I've never gotten a C before!" Taylor argued.

"At least it was a C+. That's like an A+ for me. Especially in English class." Travis replied.

Taylor replied. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Are we going now?"

Travis nodded, zipping up his backpack and slinging it around his shoulder.

They walked out of the double doors side-by-side.

"Goodbye middle school, hello high school!" Travis exclaimed as they walked down the steps of the school.

"I'm kinda nervous for high school." Taylor admitted. "But I think it'll be better when we face it together."

Travis' demeanor and mood shifted quickly, and he rubbed the back of his neck with his hand. Taylor furrowed her eyebrows, noticing the shift quickly.

"Hey, uhm, I was thinking that we could go grab some milkshakes at that cute little diner a couple blocks down? A little middle school graduate treat!" Travis suggested.

"Oh, okay." Taylor agreed. "Sure, yeah."

They made their way to the diner a few blocks down and ordered their milkshakes. When they sat down at a booth, Travis sighed.
