Chapter 12- New friends

Rydel kept teasing me about the friends we'd have over that night.
"Come on, tell me who they are"
"It'll be a surprise"
"Rydeeeeel" I whined
"You already know them"
"I do??"
"Yep"
This doubt kept me nervous all day long. Who could it be?
When I looked at the wall clock I saw it was 6 pm. They should arrive around 6:30...
It was almost 7pm when the doorbell rang. Great, they are late.
And, as if my inner fangirl wasn't enough shocked for being adopted by one of my favourite bands, my other favourite band appeared.
"Oh my god" I whispered. Rydel chuckled and hugged the four boys in our doorframe.
"Hi guys, longtime no seen! So, this is our new sister Hailie."
"Hi" I replied shyly smiling.
"Hey Hailie, I'm Cal-"
"I know who you are" I laughed.
"Well, this will make things easier" Said Ashton smiling.
"So, how is it going guys? Come sit on the couch" Said Ross.
We sit there and they started telling us about their new album and that they'd have to stay almost one year in LA to finish writing, recording and planning the upcoming tour.
It was really cool how in a few minutes the boys and I became close, as if we'd known each other for a long time (which in my case was basically true).
I had always thought the awkward one was Luke, but it really was Michael. He didn't speak much, he just occasionally laughed at some of Ashton's terrible jokes.
We ate all together and then someone suggested to go in the pool. I had never been in a pool late at night, but it seemed pretty funny. But what about my scars?
As soon as they all agreed Riker whispered in my ear "Don't worry, we always keep it dark"
I nodded relieved and smiled. Then I just had to have fun.
I changed in my bikini and hurried outside. Thank God, it was dark with only the moon light and I was feeling pretty confortable.
Suddenly someone grabbed me and jumped with me in the pool. I was caught off guard, but I have to admit it was fun. When I reached the surface, I pushed the hair out of my face and said with in sassy tone
"Who do I have to kill this time?"
"Ahahahah sorry Hailie, I didn't resist" Ryland said.
"But you're supposed to be my crime partner!" I whined.
They all laughed and I joined soon.
We were all having fun in the pool, when Ashton came up to me and asked me "Wanna come on my shoulders? I need a partner to destroy the Muke team and Calum is occupied flirting with Rydel"
I chuckled seeing he was right, and accepted.
So now it was me sitting on Ashton's shoulders and Michael doing the same with Luke. As we got closer, Michael and I started "fighting" aka push each other trying to make the other fall. After a while we stopped and looked into each other's eyes. He was trying to hold back a laugh, so I simply tickled him and he fell.
Ashton and I made an "Ohhhhh" of victory, then he helped me go back down in the water.
"That... wasn't... fair" Said Michael laughing his head off.
Ell came closer to me and whispered in my ear
"Wanna help me prank Calum?"
I looked toward Calum. He was still talking with Rydel and obviously flirting. Awww, Ell was jealous. The Rydellington vibes were extremely strong.
"Sure" I said smirking.
