Chapter 45- Revenge

Next day passed by surprisingly well and Riker and I were good again. Our little deal turned out to be really useful and clever, so I couldn't be happier.
We decided to invite the Australian boys over to take advantage of the maxi pizza I had to pay for.
Unfortunately, Ross had to stay still with his knee but I was sure he would entertain us anyway.
The boys arrived over around 7pm, late as usual. Not that I complained, we didn't have anything to do actually.
Ashton gave Ross a bro hug, not surprised of his injury since Michael was aware of what had happened and he probably told his mates.
The only one looking surprised was Calum.
"When did you get injured?" He asked.
"A few days ago. Didn't you know?"
"Calum, I told you he fell" said Michael.
"I was playing Fifa, you should know I shouldn't be bothered ". Michael laughed and shook his head.
He then came to greet me and as we hugged he whispered in my ear,
"I'm ordering the most expensive pizza there is".
I expected a romantic sentence or something like that so I bursted out laughing and slapped him lightly on his shoulder.
It was a nice breezy evening in August, so we ate outside in the backyard all sitting on the grass.
It took my injured brother a bit to properly sit down but after a muttered string of cuss words he finally settled down with us mumbling something about how he's never skateboarding again.
"Sure, Rossy, as soon as they'll Take that bandage off you'll be skating again" said Rydel giggling.
The pizza was really good and everyone thanked me for paying. I was basically forced to pay because a promise is a promise but ooookay.
The conversation shifted on tours and Riker announced that they'll be starting touring in December.
Ashton told us they had a last set of concerts in Oceania and Japan to play with One Direction starting in September so we wouldn't meet until the beginning of November.
I was both happy for them because I knew it was a very big deal touring with 1D, but I was also upset I couldn't see Michael for almost two months. Not to mention my disappointment for learning this from Ashton instead that from my boyfriend. I wasn't mad or anything, but it bothered me a bit that Michael didn't tell me before.
Anyway, the evening was really funny and pleasurable. I felt Michael staring at me but didn't really get why.
I tossed my phone on the table next to the porch so it wouldn't get stepped on or something and in that moment I felt someone lift me up. Judging from the smell of cologne, it was Michael.
They are going to throw me in the pool as usual, I thought.
And I was obviously right.
I gasped lightly as I hit the water and quickly came back in surface.
"Why do you guys always throw me in the pool??" I whined as Michael laughed.
"You're the lightest one here so it's easy to lift you" he explained smirking, "and you're lucky I waited for you to put away your phone" he chuckled.
"What a gentleman you are Mickey" giggled Luke.
Before I could get put of the pool, the others had dived in as well.
Poor Ross was sitting on the edge with only his feet in, since he was told not to get his sketches wet.
Michael pulled me closer to him.
"Sorry for not telling you about the tour. I was waiting for the right moment"
"It's okay, Michael, really. It's a great chance for you all"
"Hell yeah it is" he agreed, quickly pecking my lips and pulling away as Ryland and Calum yelled 'ewww PDA' ruining the moment.
" I'm personally killing you, Cal. Hailie, you can take care of Ryland" said Michael.
"I'm getting my revenge when you least expect it, Ryland" I said smirking. His expression was priceless. I already knew what I was going to do, something that Connor was a victim of, too.
"You're sincerely scaring me Hailie" said Ryland sarcastically.
Little did he know he would be taught a lesson next day.
