It was the first time my new family got to see me in a swimming suit and even though they knew I had scars, I was nervous. The lotion that Stormie had bought me was working really well, though, and I thought that now they weren't that bad.
I put on my new bikini, the one Rydel and I bought on our shopping trip and went outside where the pool was.
The sun was shining so I put a bit of sunscreen lotion in order not to get sunburnt.
After that, I went over to Riker who was sitting next to the pool with only his legs in the water.
"Hi" I said smiling for no specific reason.
"Heyy" he replied protecting his eyes from the sun with his hand.
"HAILIE HERE YOU ARE" Yelled Ell.
"Ahahah yep. Hi Ell" I giggled.
"I was waiting for you!" He said
"Why?" I asked puzzled.
"To do this!" And with that he pushed me into the water. I should have expected that.
"Oh my God, the water is freezing!" I yelled shivering.
I motioned toward Ell to pull me out of the pool. He extended his arm for me to reach and I grabbed his hand and pulled. Needless to say that he fell into the water.
Everyone bursted out laughing as the now wet boy came back in surface.
"Man, I should have expected that!" He said pouting.
Soon after we all were in the water splashing each other and playing with one of those plastic balloons. Stormie was sunbathing nearby and Mark was reading a book while sitting next to his wife.
"Should we invite the boys over?" Asked Ryland.
"You mean 5sos?" Replied Riker. Ryry nodded.
"Calum's ankle is not okay, yet. I think he can't come" I said.
"Oh yeah, you're right." He said.
Then Rydel started joking about Michael and me.
"You know, Michael can come though" she smirked.
"Stop it!" I giggled.
"Just saying" she laughing holding her hands up in surrender.
"It's not like Mickey and I have to do anything... at least with you guys around" I wiggled my eyebrows.
I heard Stormie laughing and everyone (including me) joined soon.

That evening, just before dinner, I received a text.

Mickey: 'Hello Miss Idontknowyourmiddlename'
'Hello Gordon' I knew he was rolling his eyes while reading this.
'I don't have a middle name'
'Oh. That's a pity'
'Not really ahahah'
'So mysterious nameless lady, would you like to go out with me for a Starbucks tomorrow?' He reminded me of Augustus Waters while talking like that.
'Sure!'
'Pick you up at 3pm? '
'Sounds great :) '
'Cool. I'm counting down the minutes'
'Weirdo'
'I'll take that as a compliment?'
'Whatever ahaha'

That said, Rocky came into my room.
"Hailie dinn- Why smiling so much?"
"Nothing" I said nonchalantly.
"Come ooon" he whined.
"I might be going on another date tomorrow" I smirked.
"That's great! By the way dinner's ready"
"Race you downstairs!" I giggled standing up.
"Nope, you'll trip and fall down the stairs" he chuckled.
"You're right" I admitted crunching up my nose.
