I was genuinely happy to see Michael. I felt like I could tell him anything and there wasn't a moment where I didn't remark how cute he was. He was my bestfriend before being my boyfriend and this was the best relationship possible.
"Hello Miss" he said smirking, stopping his car.
"Hello Sir" I responded getting in.
We were heading to the cinema when I received a text from Rocky.

'Hey Hailie, we'll be at the studio until 6pm so if you want to go home earlier you'll be alone. Byeee'

He probably forgot we were going to watch a movie lasting about 2 hours and currently being 3:30 pm we wouldn't be home before 6pm anyway. I replied shortly acknowledging what he had just said and entered the movie theater.
Michael being as usual a cute little shít didn't let me pay for my ticket. He really is a gentleman aw.

The movie was great even though we didn't pay much attention (if you know what I mean).
We took a long walk on the beach which was just a few blocks away, to let the time pass by.
Michael was swinging our intertwined hands back and forth lazily, then abruptly stopped.
"You know what?" He asked.
I only had the time to turn around when I was pinned to the ground and he started tickling me.
All I could do was laughing and yelling him to stop, which he didn't for at least the first six times I told him.
"M-Mickey p-please s-stop".
Surprisingly he did.
He was hovering just above me and looked straight at me in the eyes.
"You know what?" He repeated.
I shook lightly my head.
"I love your laughter" he said leaning down. He kissed me tenderly and I kissed him back right away.
It was a really cliché moment: us on the beach, kissing. But it was a moment I knew I would never forget.
It was when I understood I was deeply and madly in love with him.
After our little (and understandably enjoyable) make out session, we went back to the car: he was going to drive me home.
I hated having to be driven to every place, and now that I had the right age to get my licence it bothered me more than before. I did have time to study to take all the tests and I had plenty of siblings to potentially help me practising, so I was determined to get my driver's license as soon as possible.
"Is it hard to get your licence?"
"Not that much, why?"
"Because I want to get mine as soon as possible"
"How so?"
"Well, I hate making you drive all the way to my house everytime we see each other. I don't want to be a bother"
"You know you aren't, sweetie". I smiled from his statement and blushed because of the nickname, still convinced to get my licence anyway.
"It's good to be independent, right?" I asked.
"Of course. For example, I can't do the laundry and if it wasn't for Ashton I wouldn't have clothes to wear. But I bet you'd be happy" he ended smirking dorkily.
"Michael Gordon Clifford!" I fake warned him and he replied by kissing my cheek. We both started giggling at his joke when he added,
"You'll change your mind one day".
I rolled my eyes just while he stopped his car in front of my house.
It was almost 7pm.
"Do you want to stay here for dinner? I'm sure nobody would mind"
"I'd love that, Hailie, but the boys and I will have dinner with some producers tonight. Sorry to turn you down"
"It okay, don't worry" I hugged and kissed him goodbye then added,
"Have fun"
"Yeah sure" he said sarcastically while starting the car.
I waved then went in.
"Hailieeee! I thought he kidnapped you or something. How did it go?" Rydel joked.
"Super well. How did it go at the studio?"
"Really really well, I have to say. Can't wait to go on tour".
That made me suddenly remember Michael was leaving in a month. It would be really hard to see each other with both tours about to start, but we would be going to make it work.
Or at least I hoped so.
