| Y/N's POV |

"You'll be okay, right?" Dove asked me, rubbing my shoulder in comfort as she drove me to set for my first day. Dove offered to drive me since Liv was busy today — no matter how badly she wanted to take me and provide comfort to me — she just couldn't. I wasn't mad or upset, I was incredibly proud of everything she's done for her career.

"Yeah, I'll be fine, D. I actually made a friend there already so I think I'll be fine." The first place we had to stop at was my hotel room, get me checked in and then I needed to call my manager and talk to him about everything. I know that I'm focusing on acting but that doesn't mean I haven't forgotten about my music. I do need to get a new album/single out soon, I have one planned.

Dove glanced at me — giving me a reassuring smile before she pulled up right outside the hotel. I'm not surprised paparazzi is already here, these guys are quick with where celebs are going. Thank god none of them are allowed inside, otherwise they would've found my hotel room. That would be bad.

That actually almost happened one time when I was on tour with Liv, it was scary.

"Be safe and call me when you've completely settled in." Dove kissed my forehead in a sisterly way, rubbing my shoulders once last time before letting me go. I smiled at her — reaching for my suitcase while one of the hotel workers opened my car door for me — I was immediately blinded by flashing lights from all sorts of cameras as soon as I stepped out.

"Y/n! Over here!"

"Can you disclose which character you're playing?!"

"Are you releasing new music soon?!"

"Are you still single?"

These stupid and arrogant questions truly ticked me off, I didn't stop once for anyone — I simply held my paper fan up, blocking the bright lights from my face while slipping my hat on. The hotel workers gave me sympathetic smiles as the doors shut behind me — I gave them a nod in response as they guided me up to my room.

When I entered it, I bid them goodbye and thanked them gratefully for their help. I took a glance around the room — there were black out curtains with a large queen sized bed — complimentary items thrown about on it with a note, my name being on it.

I quickly set my things down in the closet nearby, I'll be staying here for a little while so I might as well make this place like home. I'll need to go shopping later so I'm not always going out to eat or ordering room service all the time. I might do that later tomorrow though.

I quickly pulled out my phone, shooting a text to my manager before I switched the tv on — scrolling through the channels, I finally decided on The Office that was being streamed on a live broadcast.

I began to empty out my bags and suitcase, arranging my new closet and drawers. When I finished I decided it would be best to head down to the hotel buffet, grab a little something to eat.

—————

I made my way back up to my hotel room after eating a small plate of food — my water bottle was in my hand since I got thirsty — I also had a fudge brownie wrapped up in foil that one of the chefs gave me for the inconvenience of the paparazzi from earlier.

I wasn't exactly paying attention as to where I was going since I was scrolling on my phone. I was flipping through all my friends' stories, smiling at a few that I found before my smile dropped when I bumped into someone's back, hearing them gasp. I quickly look up. My eyes widened when I saw who it was.

Jenna Ortega.

"What the fuck?" She cursed when she turned to me, glaring into my soul. I glanced down, noticing the red Gatorade that spilt all over her t-shirt.

"I am so so sorry." I quickly apologized, watching the slightly shorter girl cross her arms, her cold stare never relented. "I should've been paying attention, can I help with that?" I gestured to the red stains all over her shirt.

Jenna shook her head, holding her hand up as she grabbed the water bottle from my hand, opening it and splashing my face with it — she emptied almost half the bottle onto me. I gasped at the sudden coldness — thankfully my phone was tucked away safely in my back pocket alongside my AirPods.

"Now we're even, bitch." She glared one last time before dropping the almost empty water bottle into my hands, walking a little further down the hall before slamming her hotel door shut.

What the fuck just happened?
