| Y/N's POV |

As we had hoped for, the media died down a little about Jenna and I's "relationship" and decided to move on to bigger things. Liv, unfortunately, had to leave which made me sad and we cried in each other's arms for like 10 minutes straight while saying goodbye. Jenna drove me there so she was standing off to the side, completely confused as to why we were so emotional about leaving.

"Text me when you land." I mumbled and squeezed my best friend one more time before letting her go. In unison, we both wiped each other's tears with soft chuckles.

"Aye aye, captain." Olivia playfully saluted while I rolled my eyes with a fond smile on my lips. One more hug and she was off. I waved to her one last time when I caught her eye as she made it through security check. Turning around, I saw Jenna standing behind me with her arms crossed, a confused yet somewhat amused look on her face.

"Do you guys do that every time you say goodbye?" The older girl questioned as she held open the car door for me once we made it back.

"Do what?" I chuckled and buckled my seat belt in, Jenna humming.

"Like... sob in each other's arms." She emphasized and I nodded my head.

"Sometimes, especially if we know we won't see each other for a long period of time. We've been friends for so long so we're kinda attached to each other, it's why people think we're sisters." I giggled at the thought of Olivia being my actual sister. Growing up would've been way more fun.

Jenna shrugged her shoulders. "That makes sense." I turn my head curiously towards her.

"What about you?" She threw me a questioning look, silently asking me to further explain. "Have you ever cried when your best friend or significant other had to leave?"

It was quiet for a moment, Jenna's grip on the steering wheel tightened as her knuckles almost turned white. I was concerned for a second before she said, "Nah, not really." We soon steered clear from that conversation since I saw how much tension settled in once I asked the question.

Changing the subject, I asked, "Do you know who the murders are?" Jenna burst out laughing at my bluntness. "What? I wanna know!" I defend myself but I fail to hold in my own giggles.

"No, Y/N, I don't know..." She trailed off before smirking, throwing me a wink. "Yet." I rolled my eyes playfully as I turned my gaze out the window, admiring the view of New York. It was a crowded city with towering buildings that cowered over you but it was cool and beautiful nonetheless.

"Do you ever think about living here or do you prefer Los Angeles?" I broke the silence with another question. This time, Jenna didn't hesitate to answer.

"Los Angeles." She rapidly answered.

I cocked my head at her. "How come?"

"Well, I don't like being so far from my family since my mom is literally my rock and my siblings are amazing. I prefer to be where my family is." She shrugged but I smiled softly as Jenna talked of her family. She talked about them often; mostly saying things like how precious they are and some old childhood memories that she shared with them were her favorite memories ever. You could clearly tell that Jenna loved her mom, I already knew she was her rock just by looking at her.

"I like that." I mumbled. Her answer made me think about my family. My siblings were jerks and clearly my dad was an asshole but I understood where she was coming from when she said her mom was her rock. I love my mom more than anything in the world so I understood, I don't think I'd be where I am today do it wasn't for her undying support.

"You?" Jenna's question snapped me out of my trance.

"I don't know." I said honestly, when she stopped at a red light she glanced at me curiously. "My family is... different. I love my mom too, so maybe Los Angeles." I nodded my head at my unsure answer. Jenna didn't further question me but when I caught her eye she threw me a smile before looking back at the road and continuing to drive off.

"Interesting." I heard Jenna whisper to herself. What does that mean?
