| Jenna's POV |

"Good morning." Dove flashed Y/N and I a sweet smile as we walked into this quaint coffee shop. Today was the I would meet Dove for the first time. Have mercy on me.

"Morning." Dove stood to give Y/N a tight squeeze, I knew to was because they haven't seen each other in quiet some time. "Jenna." She acknowledged my presence, holding her hand for me to shake.

"Dove, nice to meet you." I firmly shook her hand, leaving no room for errors. Dove eyed me before a small smile formed on her face.

"Let's sit." I pulled out the chair for Y/N before sitting down beside her, Dove across from us. "Ugh, I'm so happy to see you again, Y/N/N."

"Me too." My girlfriend reached over, grabbing her older sister figure's hand. "I missed you a lot."

"I missed you more." Dove chuckle wholeheartedly. I looked between her and Y/N, I could see why she looked up to Dove in the first place. "Never Ending Song is amazing, by the way. And congrats on Scream VI."

She directed the last sentence to us both. I grabbed Y/N's hand from under the table, looking at her with a smile. "Thank you, I think this movie was more fun to make with you in it."

Y/N blushed. "Well, I know I had fun too." She laid her head on my shoulder and we all talked for a few more minutes until my girlfriend spoke up again. "I'll got order for us."

She kissed my cheek as she walked away and I watched we safely get to the register before turning to look at Dove who was dead staring me in the eye. "What are your intentions with her? Are you going to break her heart? Will you always be there for her?"

"I want to be her forever love, yes and yes." I answered all three questions as fast as I could. "Y/N is truly the most special girl I've ever met, Dove. I don't want to fuck things up and if I ever did, I would never do it on purpose. I'm trying not to be an idiot."

Dove laughed softly. "So far, out of the very little people she's dated, you're my favorite." My heart felt like it might explode from that.

I too now had a grin on my face and chatted away with Dove until Y/N came back. "What'd I miss?" 

"Nothing much." I kissed her cheek, wrapping my arm around her shoulders before looking back at Dove. "So, as I was saying-"

"I'm so happy you two hit it off." Y/N sighed happily as she leaned her head back against the back of the car seat.

I buckled up and looked at her with a smile. "Me too, she's so nice and sweet. I like her."

"And you have her approval, which makes me even more happy." Y/N grabbed my hand. "Usually, the people that she dislikes ends up breaking my heart so it's a good sign that she really likes you."

"I'm glad." I chuckled, kissing her forehead before letting her go to start the car. "I'd hate to have her hate me or something."

"Unless you break my heart or do something stupid, there shouldn't be any reason for her to hate you." Y/N hummed, playing her 4th Rihanna song of the day.

I smiled, keeping my eyes on the road. "Good, good. I won't be an idiot, I promise." I jokingly saluted to her and smiled wider when she giggled.

"Now, can we go home and cuddle? I feel like watching Shrek?"

I nodded. "Of course, baby. In the living room or bedroom?"

"Bedroom obviously." Y/N scoffed playfully. "I need to lay down with you on a super comfy bed."

"I hear you loud and clear, darling." I laughed and smile when her hand cupped my jaw, stroking my cheek as I pulled in the driveway of where I lived. "Oh, how's Banjo by the way?"

"He's amazing." Y/N beamed, I opened her door for her. "He's so cute and he's so jumpy too. He hasn't scratched me much so I'm happy about that."

"Good." I laughed. "I would hate to have gotten you a cat that does nothing but scratch you."
