"There's a reason why we have gathered you all today." I started as all of our friends say in the living room of my apartment since it was slightly bigger than Jenna's.

"Did someone die?" Gracie blurted with a chocolate covered strawberry half in her mouth.

Jenna chuckled. "No, quite the opposite."

"So... someone was born?" Jack looked at us with his face scrunched up.

"Yeah, basically." I grinned as Jenna reached behind us, pulling out the envelope we had stored away. "We are..."

"Pregnant." Jenna finished softly as she held up the ultrasound pictures.

Dove's jaw dropped as everyone else cheered. "Isn't it a little soon?" Sabrina walked up to me.

"It was an accident but no one has to know that." I whispered to her, winking when she giggled.

"Congrats!" Kit opened his arms for me. I walked in them with a smile and gave him a tight hug. "I'm so happy for you two, you're gonna be amazing parents."

"Thank you." I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear as Gracie hugged me next, then Mikey, and Emma.

"Did Jenna freak out at first?" The brunette whispered in my ear. I pulled back with a raise of my brow.

"You're like a detective." I chuckled and nudged her shoulder as she smiled shyly.

"A little." Emma joked and soon enough, Sadie and Millie walked up to me.

"We're so happy for you." Millie squealed, capturing me in a bone crushing hug. Sadie stood off to the side with a soft smile on her face.

"Honestly, Y/N/N, congratulations. I'm always here for you." The redhead finally hugged me, making my heart flutter. I really did miss our friendship.

After everyone celebrated with us, i was helping Jenna clean up. Dove — terrifyingly — was the only one left. "Dove?" I walked up to her as Jenna took off to clean the bathroom, giving us some privacy.

"You're pregnant? Really?" She took a quick shot of alcohol, making me smile a little. "That... was quick."

"I know. It wasn't supposed to happen." I placed my hands on my stomach. "But, ever since then, I've been wondering if this is what I'm meant to do. With Jenna, at least. She's just perfect in every way and I feel like I don't deserve her but I can't help the dreams I have of starting a family with her."

Dove sighed and held my hand in hers.
"You know I always have your back, don't worry. I'm just glad Jenna didn't leave you for this otherwise she would be dead by now."

"Well-" I was about to say about how she did freak out and leave but for Jenna's sake, I'll keep to myself. "Nothing. I wanted to ask you something."

"Yeah?" She leaned closer, tilting her head and giving me all her attention.

"Would you be our baby's godmother?" I asked slowly, watching her facial expressions move with shock. "You don't have to but... you're the only person that I think suits the role."

"Y/N/N, of course I would love to. This means a lot to me." Dove pulled me in for a gently hug, kissing my forehead. "You're like a sister to me, I'm so happy and honored that you chose me."

"It just felt right." I chuckled, giving her another hug since they were the best.

—————

"I think it went well." Jenna hummed as she ran her hand up and down my back, the both of us relaxing on my bed watching Enola Holmes.

"Me too, baby." I sighed softly as I relaxed further into her lap. "Dove took it pretty well."

"Okay that I'm happy about otherwise I was a dead woman." Jenna joked and we shared a laugh about it. I cuddled further into her body before I was forced to pause the movie when Jenna's phone started ringing. "Hello?" She answered. I watched her face drop with worry and fear. "Yeah, yeah, we'll be right over. Bye."

"What's wrong?" We were both suddenly standing up and rushing to get clothes on.

"Lloyd is in critical condition in the hospital."

—————

"Lloyd, Lloyd." Jenna rushed to the side of his bed, checking all over his body. Bruises covered his face and left arm, his right arm was wrapped in a white, sturdy cast. His legs were hidden under his sheet and his neck was being held up by a brace, an oxygen mask placed over his mouth. "Oh my god."

Jenna covered her mouth as a choked sob came out. I quickly rushed over and took her in my arms, Jenna crashed immediately but could never take her eyes off of Lloyd.

The doctor walked in with a sad look in his eyes. "Lloyd here says you're his sister, correct?" He looked at my girlfriend who stood with shaky legs.

"Yes... yes, I'm his sister." She swallowed hard, my hands holding her bicep.

"Your brother here got into an accident. A man around 6'1 jumped him just an hour ago, that man is being held in the Los Angeles County Jail with charges of attempted murder and assault." The doctor quickly explained, only making Jenna more tense than she already was. "Lloyd here is in critical condition, he's suffering from a minor concussion and to prevent further brain damage, we put him into a medically induced coma. His right arm was fractured at the elbow, bruises from the man's blows all around his left arm and upper chest. And a scar on his right leg from a possible 8 inch knife according to our surgeons who analyzed the data."

Jenna let out a sigh, her eyes filling with tears that I knew would pour out the second the doctor left the room. "And Lloyd? Is he gonna be okay?" I asked for her.

The doctor sighed empathetically. "We don't know for sure, all we can do is hope. For now, he's doing good. He can't talk or move but try talking to him, studies have shown that it helps the patient."

After that, the doctor left and Jenna fell to the ground, tears and heart breaking sobs escaping her throat. It was a sight I had never wished to see — it was so painful to watch and hear and feel. I held her in my arms while looking at Lloyd who attached to all these tubes and medical devices.

For Jenna's sake and mine, I'll pray my hardest for Lloyd to be okay.
