"Oh my god, Lloyd, you look amazing." I crushed him into the tightest hug ever, he lifted me up slightly with a raspy laugh. And it was true, he looked so good. His skin wasn't as pale, returning back to the olive colored tone he once was. His hair was clean and silky, he shaved his stubbly beard, and his eyes were brighter than ever. "Tate would be all over you."
He laughed. "I would hope so." He scratched the back of his neck. "I'm doing good, by the way. Been sober, not tempted. Just tryna do my best."
"We're all very proud of you. Come on, let's go plan the surprise at our house since Jenna is out with Juno on a mama-daughter day and Tate is coming over for dinner which is about the time Jenna will be back as well." I informed, opening the door car for him.
"Let's do this, bruh."

"Mommy will think this'll look adorable on you." I held up a one side to Juno who was babbling in the comfort of her stroller. "What do you think?"

I chuckled and threw it in the cart we had while shopping at Target. I pushed along, looking down each section of clothes. I perhaps went a little overboard on shopping for Juno but it was almost impossible not to since she's the cutest baby in the world - might be me being bias here but it's true - and I know Y/N loves to dress her up.
With that, I moved along from the baby section after picking up more necessities like diapers and formula. I made my way through the toys, always getting lost in those aisles. I remember when Y/N had to drag me out of them after 40 minutes.
"Look, June. It's your favorite." I grabbed a small Bluey plushie from the shelf. Even if she hasn't comprehended what life was yet or anything in general, I did know that she loved Bluey. She would gasp every time she came on screen.
Adorable if you ask me.
Checking out of target, I made my way through the entrance of the mall with the bags being placed on the long handles of the stroller. I walked until I found the exact place I was looking for - Daniel's Diamonds.
"Hello, what can I do for you?" A kind man approached me from behind the counter.
"I'm uh looking for a ring. An engagement ring."

"LLOYD!" Jenna and Tate screamed as soon as he entered the back door, a smile on my face. Juno blankly stared at her mama who was hugging that boy so tight I almost thought he'd go back to the hospital.
"You asshole!" Tate shoved his shoulder. "Don't ever make me stress like that again." She grasped his face and pulled him down for an extremely passionate kiss.
I jokingly placed my hand over Juno's eyes.
Jenna chuckled as the lovers pulled away. "We missed you so much, bud. More than you can imagine."
"Man, y'all know I definitely missed y'all too. Y/N helped me plan the surprise." Lloyd outed me, making Jenna raise a brow at me.
"Now. Before you do anything..." I trailed off before running upstairs, knowing my girlfriend was extremely close behind me. I laughed a little, hearing the fallen giggles from Jenna's lips too. "HE NEEDED HELP!"
"OH WELL!" Jenna tackled me on the bed, tickling me until we called a truce. I relaxed back against the bed, our breathing was incredibly heavy. "How dare you keep that from me?"
"I had to. That's the point of a surprise, dumbass." I flicked her forehead before kissing her lips. Jenna mumbled under her breath, rolling her eyes as she kissed my neck. "Plus, it's cute the way you react to these things."
"Yeah, yeah." Jenna chuckled and lovingly gazed at me. "Come on, let's take Lloyd out to dinner."
"I'm so down but only if we go to Applebees." I compromised, making my girlfriend smile.
"Of course, my love." We both stood up and went to fix our clothes as I noticed something on the bed.
"Oh hey, you dropped something." I picked up the tiny, velvet covered black box in my hands. Jenna's eyes went wide and she immediately snatched it from me. "What-"
"Yeah, that's mine." Jenna rambled out rapidly. "Come on, let's go e-eat."
Suspicious.
