55. An Unknown Girlfriend - Tadashi x female reader (Big Hero 6)

The San Fransokyo Institute of Technology (SFIT) stood tall against the backdrop of the city, its sleek, modern architecture a testament to innovation. Outside, the campus buzzed with activity, with students bustling to and fro amidst the meticulously manicured lawns and towering buildings. The air was alive with the sound of chatter and laughter, punctuated by the occasional whoosh of passing hovercars.

For about half an hour, Tadashi had been introducing his younger brother, Hiro, to his friends. Their laughter and camaraderie filled the air as Tadashi proudly showcased each member of his close-knit group.

However, Tadashi had one more he wanted Hiro to meet: Y/N. With a quick glance around the lab, Tadashi realized that Y/N was nowhere to be seen. Determined to complete the introductions, he set off in search of her, with Hiro trailing behind.

As Tadashi navigated through the lab, weaving between workstations and experiments in progress, Hiro's attention was divided. His eyes roamed wide with wonder, taking in the sights and sounds of Tadashi's world with a mix of fascination and curiosity.

Lost in thought, Hiro failed to notice when Tadashi came to a sudden stop ahead. With a distracted mind, Hiro collided into his older brother's back, jolting him out of his reverie. Rubbing his nose where it had bumped into Tadashi's back, Hiro blinked, snapping back to the present. "Whoa, sorry about that," he apologized, shooting a sheepish grin at his brother.

Tadashi chuckled, turning to face Hiro with an amused glint in his eyes. "No worries, little brother. You were just lost in your own world there, weren't you?" He teased, ruffling Hiro's hair affectionately.

Hiro grinned, ducking away from Tadashi's playful gesture. "Maybe a little," he admitted, glancing around the lab with renewed focus. "But seriously, Tadashi, this place is amazing. I can't believe you get to work here every day."

Tadashi's smile widened at Hiro's enthusiasm, a sense of pride swelling in his chest. "Yeah, it's pretty great," he agreed, his gaze sweeping over the lab fondly. "But you know what would make it even better? If I could just find... Tadashi began before he spotted the person.

"Hey, Y/N!" He called out, prompting her to turn around. She was about to greet him back, until she saw a person behind Tadashi's back. Peering behind his shoulder, she sets her eyes on Hiro.

In a matter of seconds, Y/N breaks out into a huge smile as she rushes over to Hiro. Y/N's eyes sparkled with excitement as she enveloped him in a friendly hug. "Hiro! It's so great to finally meet you!" she exclaims, her voice filled with genuine warmth.

Hiro, surprised but pleasantly taken aback by the hug, hesitates for a moment before returning it, patting her back awkwardly. "Uh, hey, Y/N. Nice to meet you too," he says, feeling a bit flustered but appreciating the gesture.

"I have heard so much about you." She begins, taking both his hands in hers. "Tadashi can't seem to shut up about you and your brilliant mind."

Hiro blushed at Y/N's compliment, feeling a mixture of embarrassment and genuine appreciation. He gazed towards his brother to see him smiling at the two. Turning back to Y/N, he gives her a small smile. "Oh, um, thanks," he mumbled, scratching the back of his head nervously.

"And you look almost just like him!" Y/N gushes as she takes a step back to take in his small form. "You both have that cute smile and the same style. Oh, it's so cute." YN continues to gush as she looks between the two brothers.

Just then, Tadashi cleared his throat, breaking the momentary lull in Y/N's rambling. "As much as I hate to interrupt, why greet my younger brother so warmly before me? I am, in fact, your boyfriend, not Hiro." Tadashi jokingly asked questions.
