93. Meeting a Significant Genius - Hiro x reader (Big Hero 6)

Tadashi and Hiro walk through the bustling halls of the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology. Students and professors are engaged in various high-tech projects, their creativity on full display. The two guys have already seen and met Tadashi's friends, Honey Lemon, Gogo Tomago, Wasabi, and Fred. So now there was only one left.

Tadashi, in his early twenties, is tall and athletic, with a calm and friendly demeanor. He wears a baseball cap, a hoodie over a T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers, exuding confidence and approachability. Pushing his cap further up, he gestures around the bustling labs with a warm smile. "As you saw with my friends, this is where the magic happens. Every lab has something unique going on."

They approach a particularly lively lab, filled with an array of gadgets, drones, and high-tech equipment. At the center is Y/N, surrounded by a multitude of projects: a multipurpose drone, a holographic display, and a robotic arm, among others.

They are dressed in a slightly eccentric style with gadgets hanging from their belt, and they wear a pair of custom-made goggles. Y/N is engrossed in fine-tuning a robotic arm.

Smiling, Tadashi gives them a fond glance. "And this... is Y/N. One of our brightest and youngest minds here.

Y/N looks up, eyes sparkling with excitement and a touch of mischief. Flipping their goggles up on their forehead, they flash a quick, sarcastic smile. Without missing a beat, they flashed a wink towards Hiro and Tadashi. "Brightest and most sarcastic, thank you very much. Don't touch anything; some of it's sensitive."

Hiro, a slim teenager with messy black hair and a curious, intelligent gaze, chuckles. He's dressed in a graphic T-shirt, hoodie, cargo shorts, and sneakers. Immediately intrigued by Y/N's sharp wit and the variety of projects, he steps closer.

Tadashi chuckles at Y/N's playful warning, giving Hiro a light nudge as if to say, "Be on your best behavior." He looks back at Y/N, his smile widening. "Y/N, this is my little brother Hiro. He's got a knack for getting into things, so I figured he'd fit right in here."

Hiro grins, his eyes scanning the lab with a mix of awe and excitement. "Wow, this place is amazing! What are you working on?"

Y/N beamed with pride at their array of projects, giving them a quick once-over. "Oh, just a few things, nothing too challenging."

However, Y/N's casual demeanor shifted as they noticed Hiro's genuine curiosity. Moving towards the multipurpose drone, they handled it with care. "Take this little guy, for instance. It's quite versatile, from aiding in search and rescue missions to handling everyday household tasks. It could deliver your pizza, ferry you to class, or even tackle nanobot swarms. And its adaptive AI is always learning from its surroundings."

After placing the drone down, they gestured towards their other creations. "Here's a holographic display for virtual meetings, and this robotic arm can replicate human hand movements with precision."

Hiro's eyes widen with each new creation Y/N showcases. He moves closer to the holographic display for virtual meetings, examining it with fascination. "Virtual meetings? So, like, you could have people from all over the world interacting as if they were in the same room?"

Y/N nods, adjusting their goggles with a proud smile. "Exactly. It's all about breaking down barriers and making collaboration more seamless. With this setup, you can have real-time interactions with colleagues or clients, regardless of where they are."

Y/N nods again, moving over to the robotic arm and activating it with a few keystrokes. The arm whirs to life, mimicking human hand movements with uncanny precision. "It's designed for tasks that require finesse and accuracy, like surgery or handling fragile materials. With the right programming, it can perform a wide range of tasks."
