The night air in Beacon Hills carried a certain magic, especially under the glow of a full moon. It was the kind of night that whispered secrets and held promises of adventure. And as I sat on the blanket spread out on the grass, my gaze fixed on the radiant orb above, memories flooded my mind.
I couldn't help but think back to the day I first moved to Beacon Hills, a year ago now. It was a day like any other, except it was the day I met Scott and Stiles—two people who would come to mean everything to me.
I remember how I had overslept that morning, the frantic rush to make it to school on time, and the serendipitous collision with Scott that sent us both tumbling down a hill. Stiles' panicked shouts had pierced the air as he scrambled to our aid, and from that moment on, the three of us had been inseparable.
But it wasn't until later that year, as the days grew shorter and the nights colder, that my feelings for Scott began to shift. I recall the moment I first laid eyes on him at the lacrosse team bench, his easy smile and infectious laugh stealing my breath away.
And then, near the end of that same year, we finally admitted our feelings for each other and became more than just friends.
All of a sudden, I felt a hand place itself on my own, breaking me free from memory land. Startled, I turned to find Scott's warm smile greeting me in the moonlight. His touch sent a jolt of electricity through me, dispelling the melancholy of my reminiscence.
"Hey," he said softly, his eyes reflecting the moon's glow.
"Hey," I replied, unable to suppress the flutter of excitement in my chest at the sight of him.
As he settled beside me on the blanket, the tension that had lingered in the air dissipated, replaced by a sense of comfort and familiarity. I found myself drawn to him, captivated by the way the moonlight danced across his features, casting shadows that seemed to accentuate his every contour.
"You were lost in thought," Scott observed, his voice tinged with curiosity. "Everything okay?"
I hesitated, unsure of how to articulate the whirlwind of emotions swirling within me. But then, meeting his gaze, I found solace in the depths of his eyes—the same eyes that had captivated me from the moment we met.
"Yeah, just reminiscing," I admitted, offering him a tentative smile.
Scott's hand tightened around mine, a silent reassurance that anchored me to the present moment. And as we sat there beneath the moonlit sky, bathed in its ethereal glow.
As our date progressed, I became captivated by the sight of the full moon rising in all its splendor. Unable to resist its beauty, I found myself gazing at it in awe. With a soft murmur praising its magnificence, I caught Scott's attention as he nibbled on his sandwich beside me.
