Wow, look at you all! I didn't think it was possible, but you all look even more incredible than before!

I'm excited to share another one-shot for you, my beloved readers! Thank you EmmaTice598 for another request! I hope you enjoy what my imagination came up with and that you like it..

The soft glow of the evening sun cast long shadows over the Capitol's skyline, but Cressida's mood didn't match the warm, peaceful light. Her brows furrowed slightly as she crossed her arms, clearly skeptical of whatever Y/N had in mind.

"Are you sure this is necessary?" Cressida grumbled as Y/N tied the blindfold over her eyes. "You know I hate surprises."

"That's exactly why this is necessary," Y/N teased, her voice practically bouncing with excitement. "Besides, you're going to love this. Just trust me, okay?"

Cressida sighed, resigned to whatever chaos Y/N was about to drag her into. "If I end up tripping over something..."

"You won't!" Y/N interrupted, her tone sunny and light. She grabbed Cressida's hand, pulling her forward with infectious enthusiasm. "Just a few steps and then—wait, no, that's a lie, there's actually a lot of steps. But it'll be worth it!"

"I swear, if this ends with me on the ground..." Cressida muttered under her breath, though the usual bite in her words softened at the edges. The hint of a smile tugged at her lips, though she would never admit it. Y/N always had a way of drawing these rare moments of softness out of her, no matter how hard she tried to keep her guard up.

Y/N was practically skipping ahead, guiding Cressida along the narrow alley. "Okay, just a few more turns... And oh, um, there's a stair—"

Before Y/N could finish, Cressida's foot caught on the first step. "Ow—Y/N!"

Cressida stumbled, her hands instinctively flying out to grab something—anything. Y/N, being her usual bubbly self, stifled a giggle as she steadied her girlfriend before she completely faceplanted.

"Oh no! My bad! Should have mentioned that, huh?" Y/N grinned sheepishly, squeezing Cressida's hand reassuringly. "But look at it this way; you're still on your feet! That's a win!"

Cressida shot her an exasperated glare, though the effect was lost behind the blindfold. "Barely," she grumbled, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "I'm starting to question your definition of 'worth it.'"

Y/N couldn't help but burst into a laugh. "Come on, Grumpy. Let's get to the fun part."

Y/N's laughter faded into a soft, affectionate smile as she carefully guided Cressida up the last step. The playful teasing gave way to a more intimate atmosphere. Y/N paused for a moment, taking a deep breath as she looked around to make sure everything was perfect. It was time for the surprise she had spent weeks planning.

"We're here," Y/N whispered, her voice suddenly gentle. As she untied the blindfold, her fingers brushed gently against the back of Cressida's neck, lingering just a second longer than necessary.

The light touch sent a shiver through Cressida, though she kept her expression neutral—at least she tried to. Y/N didn't miss the subtle shift, though. She smiled knowingly as she removed the blindfold.

"There," Y/N whispered, her breath soft against Cressida's ear. "You can open your eyes now."

Cressida blinked as her eyes adjusted to the dim light, her usual guarded expression softening as she took in the scene before her. They were standing on a quiet rooftop garden, far from the chaos of the Capitol. Fairy lights twinkled softly overhead, strung between the tall trees that framed the open space, casting a golden glow across the secluded area.
