When Qiang Yong left with Su Ning, technically Madam Ren assumed her post as Vice Commander of the army. Taking advantage of the presence of Huang Jia and An Shu, she divided the yao into three groups, forming three battle fronts, attacking from the front, from the sides and gathering on the side opposite the entrance. This way they could surround the city from various directions.

No one challenged the decisions she made, and the dragon was excited about such an obedient army and such an exciting situation. In the past, some generals had difficulty following her orders because she was a woman. Xing Ou Yang was one of those, in fact. She wouldn't expect Huang Jia to retort, they practically became great friends after they got to know each other better. Well, she was also very good friends with her mother before.

As for An Shu, she thought he could say something, usually men always thought she understood more about fights and battles, especially he who lived with a cultivator for so long. It was an argument in his favor, his experience with cultivators. But the snake nodded without hesitation.

To say that Ren Loo was happy was an understatement. Not only did she find someone who understood her, but she also completely trusted the steps she took. After organizing themselves, each group headed in a different direction. Huang Jia went to a moon gate to the east, while An Shu went in the opposite direction. Ren Loo attacked through the entrance gate. With just one kick, she shattered the gate guarded by the cultivators into pieces.

Most of them fell to the ground, stunned by the blow. Who would have thought that someone would come and knock down your defenses like it was just a breath? Incredible as it may seem, the cultivators had strengthened the gate with enchantments and talismans, but as they could see, these people who joined Ce Rang were far from having true cultivation.

"You heard the Emperor's orders, it's to capture these weaklings alive!" She recalled the recommendation left by Qiang Yong before leaving. Her group then dispersed hunting the human invaders. You could say it was a one-sided confrontation. The cultivators were unprepared to face the yao.

Firstly, because they thought that only cultivators who did not rebel would come to confront them; secondly, despite considering yao as enemies, they never had the opportunity to face them directly. The difference in strength and skill was shameful and they were quickly suppressed.

Ren Loo made an inspection of the imprisoned cultivators. This was being too easy, she didn't even need to lift a finger. She should at least have some stronger cultivator to help Ce Rang. There was one that her brother had mentioned before, what was the name again? Xun Dui? He was probably in the middle of it too!

The cultivators were placed in a large warehouse and she sealed it to prevent them from escaping or being freed by others.
"Let's go to Huang Jia now." She ordered to her underlings. Somewhere Xun Dui must be causing trouble, if not it was with her, it should be with one of the other two.
Huang Jia didn't have that many problems with cultivators either. In possession of a fire whip, her main weapon, she glided along with the yao granted her supervision and captured several cultivators.

Unlike the group that faced Ren Loo, most of the cultivators preferred to flee in fright. So much hate and so much cowardice! Ren Loo sighed. They made such a fuss about invading the capital, but they fled before the first yao that appeared. At the time of war, many talented cultivators died on the battlefield, their courage was exceptional. She killed a lot of humans, and it somehow weighed a little on her chest now, thinking that these people were promising. She was relieved that Su Ning preferred a medical career.

Even so, one or another human challenged the phoenix and ended up trapped in a circle of fire. Huang Jia has improved a lot in recent times, especially in case he needs to defend his little newborn daughter. The phoenix tied up the last incapacitated human, and upon Madame Ren's recommendation, she also trapped them in one of the emptiest rooms she could find.

Some cultivators hid in the rooms in the Palace, but were soon captured. Yao, very similar to long, short-legged lizards, brought several that they found hidden. This form was great for creeping around corners and catching targets off guard. Until a good number of them came, Ren Loo commented to the phoenix. Huang Jia agreed, on her part no humans were seriously injured, only minor burns.

"I hope Dr. Su doesn't get upset about this." She said thoughtfully.
"Why would he be upset? The important thing is that they're all alive, right? They're the ones who looked for it." The dragon said, shrugging. Now all that was left was to find An Shu.
The gate to the west was a region with small artificial lakes, but when they got there, everything was frozen, including the cultivators. Ren Loo sized them up, trapped inside the ice statues.

"That's very practical." She laughed. They were alive but trapped.
"It is not?" One of the yao, in the form of a badger, said, tapping on the icy walls. "The snake has good ice power. When necessary, it will thaw everything." He then blew on his hands. "But it's too cold!"
Ren Loo turned to Huang Jia. "Do you think ice can combine with fire?" She asked anxiously.

"Uhm...I can't say, but I think opposites attract and complement each other."
"I agree." Ren Loo smiled in relief. Furthermore, she thought, Su Ning had an affinity for water, while Qiang Yong was a fire dragon. This explanation was perfectly plausible. But she found it strange that Xun Dui hadn't appeared yet. Could it be that he was inside the inner chambers of the palace?

She was reflecting when she saw An Shu coming towards her. He kept half of his body like a snake and his white hair was tied into a small bun. Wherever it passed, the ice crystallized into a lotus flower pattern. He looked much more serious in this form, which Ren Loo found very beautiful. He had been crawling calmly, when he suddenly took on the form of a snake, of considerable size, and without thinking twice he coiled around Ren Loo and Huang Jia.

Before Madam Ren spoke, she felt the impact of something slamming into the snake's flesh. An Shu's scales were weaker than a dragon's and she felt hot blood splash against her face. It all happened so quickly, An Shu didn't even have time to make a decent block.
Ren Loo heard a male voice shout, "Master! Go ahead! I will take care of them!"

She peeked over the snake, An Shu had been hit by several spears
and they were surrounded by a group of cultivators. Xun Dui was leading them, while Ce Rang ran with his qinggong towards the palace.
