The Yao Emperor and His Human Doctor.

Chapter 21 - Injustice.

Qiang Yong felt as if a weight fell on his stomach. "Like this?"
Hu Long replied, "He's looking for a way to control it as well. With a golem it wouldn't be possible and so he's looking for a spell." The servant hesitated a little seeing the Emperor's apprehensive expression. "Sir, would it be a good idea to tell the doctor?"

The dragon reflected. "For now I will take care of it, don't say anything to the Empress Dowager about it." Hu Long swore not to say anything and left.
The Emperor now had a big problem on his hands. Of course the doctor would be the next target for the person behind this. He was very close to them and would be easy prey. However, something wasn't right. From what Hu Long saw in his semi-conscious state, this person intended to eliminate all the dragons and dominate only the doctor.

Wouldn't it be correct for him to take control of the human and then use him to kill them? Was this killer's identity Yao or human? If he was human, there was a possibility that he was someone who hoped to get revenge on the yao using the doctor. However, if he were a yao, he might have some grudge against the human...

Qian Young was still unsure whether he should look for Dr. Su. He had already placed his guards to take care of the clinic. What if he brought the doctor to stay in Fortaleza? He would definitely have extra security, although even his servant was caught inside his own territory! He was in effect facing a powerful and determined enemy.

No! Placing the doctor under house arrest was not the solution! Furthermore, they would meet every day... Qian Young frowned, remembering Su Ning's clear eyes. The first impression he had was that he knew that look... it could only be from the time of the war, as it was the only time he had been so close to humans.

He vaguely remembered something, when someone at the entrance of a cave, with their back to him, slowly turned his face, his black eyes so big, saying goodbye... that was so long ago. He felt his head throbbing.

Qian Young didn't take rash actions, he spent an entire day withdrawing into himself discussing the pros and cons. He didn't trust Dr. Su, but he came to the conclusion that since it was about his own safety, it was the right thing to do. Maybe... he could talk to him? After all, the doctor was intelligent, even cunning. He had helped his mother twice. He said he had nothing against him, including that he didn't hate him.

Dr. Su, you really... don't hate me?
The Emperor shook his head irritably. Why was he always losing focus? He firmly decided to go to the Empress and ask for the doctor's communication array password. He could set up a time to discuss the matter.
"Do you want Dr Su's password?" The Empress was perplexed but overjoyed.

"Uh, yes. It's something I want to discuss regarding the golem."
The Empress didn't care about anything! Qiang Yong wanted to talk to the doctor, who knows, maybe he even started to see him as a friend!
After a while of calling at the headquarters, Qiang Yong asked, "Is he usually slow to respond?"
"No, let me try."

The Empress also called out to him, without answer. A bad feeling arose in Qiang Yong's heart.
"Even if he had left to answer a call he would have responded..." She said softly. "I'll talk to Dr. Han. Maybe he knows something."
The Emperor also had the fox's contact, so he also looked for him.

"Huh? Didn't you hear? The Yao Medical Sect decided to detain Dr. Su for an investigation. They took him away yesterday afternoon."
"WHAT?" The Empress was indignant to the last strand of her hair.
"How was that, Dr. Han?" Qiang Yong asked in alarm. The enemy had already acted again and it was definitely a yao! He managed to get the doctor out of reach!

"Some of our doctors were not very happy with the fact that a human was taking care of yao. They think it is a risk, as he could take advantage of this and kill patients in secret. As Dr. Su is not registered with the sect, the Supervising Doctor had no choice but to open the inquiry for investigation.”
"Come on! This is absurd! Dr. Su is incapable of harming even a spider that bit him!"

"Y-yes. I know. I'm going there, several doctors are going... I know Dr. Su will do well. If he needs to, I'll also testify on his behalf. Now I need to go."
The Empress looked at her son, with pleading eyes. "I'm going there! Dr. Su saved my life..."
"Don't worry, A-niang. I'll go there. Even if the situation doesn't turn out in the doctor's favor, I'll bring him back."
"Yong-er... thank you, my son!" The Empress hugged him, relieved. If Qian Young said he would protect the doctor, he would do so who had little influence on the rules of the Medical Sect, however if any irregularity was proven, he could intervene and obtain guardianship over him.

Wait! If there was any irregularity he would have to pay for it! In fact, it was even good that this happened to find out if this doctor really was an honorable person!
Qiang Yong sent a message to the Medical Sect representative, letting him know that he would be present at the inquiry.

The representative did not object, how could he? After all, the suspect's last case concerned the Emperor's mother! How could he not be present?
Then Qiang Yong put on his robe and prepared to leave again. I hope no one has touched a hair of this doctor by the time I arrive!
