Qiang Yong didn't know how this could have gone more wrong in the first place. After the conversation with Dr. Han Chia, the fox doctor was sent to try to convince the Empress Dowager to receive this last doctor and also to be on standby in one of the fortress's rooms in case she showed signs of worsening.

However, the instructions that his servants gave to the guards were for them to go look for the human in the mountains and they forgot to mention that he was a doctor!

The guards were already used to bringing doctors, but a simple human was a novelty and knowing how the Emperor hated them, they soon concluded that this was some type of execution. So the guards simply brought the doctor in by force. And his assistant, who at all costs tried to prevent them from completing their mission, was knocked out.

After all, what was such a strong yao doing next to a human, let alone defending him with such ferocity? That's very suspicious!
So they brought the yao with them. Unfortunately there were no patients at that time and the chances of resolving the misunderstanding were gone with this last opportunity.

And now Qiang Yong was faced with a human chained and kneeling in front of him, with his head covered by a hood and a snake yao unconscious but still firmly clinging to his arm. How to explain that he just wanted a consultation without revealing that he was Emperor Yao after such a violent display of strength?

He approached the guard in charge and whispered in his ear, "Please, at least tell me you didn't hurt him!" The guard was surprised and vehemently denied it. "No, Your Majesty, the orders were just to bring the human!"
"By Heaven, did this creature even offer any resistance to you bringing him in like this???"

He didn't wait for a response, given the resilient posture of the human in front of him, he wouldn't even be able to slaughter a rabbit. And also, even if he had fought, who wouldn't react to a situation like this?
Given the current circumstances, everything was lost.

Qiang Yong removed the human's hood, feeling helpless for the first time in his life, only to meet a pair of eyes as clear and calm as the surface of a lake. There was not the slightest sign of anger or discontent in them. Surprised, the Emperor couldn't help but be surprised for the second time that day.

The human had a good appearance, a thin and elegant face but with well-defined features. His hair was tied with a simple ribbon and fell to just below his shoulders. He was young, but it was impossible to guess the approximate age because cultivators lived longer than ordinary humans. Furthermore, those eyes resembled that person's. Could it be him!?

Without thinking, Qiang Yong questioned "Are you the human doctor treating yao?"
The human smiled slightly. "Yeah, I don't know another human who specializes in this, so I guess I'm the only one for now."
Qiang Yong: "......."
This bastard wants to die talking to me like that!

Emperor Yao cleared his throat, swallowing his anger, and continued: "I would like you to evaluate a patient..."
"A patient! Why didn't you say so! Where are you?"
Su Ning interrupted him by urgently standing up. Damn weak human! How can he get up so quickly with these heavy chains?

Qiang Yong signaled for them to release him and then went to show him the way. Su Ning woke up the snake yao trapped in his arm by squeezing some acupuncture points.
"Wake up An Shu, we have a patient!"

Qian Young shook his head. Do you even remember how you were brought here?
An awakened An Shu assumed his half-human form, retaining the tail portion of a bright, eridescent white. He pulled Su Ning by the sleeve, shouting in fright, "Su Ning! What are you doing??? This is Emperor Yao, I told you they were his guards! He hates humans! Run away and save your life!"
